Reason for Appeal: Bleedout bug and what I believe should've been an NLR under current PK rules. Plus, after all the mass PK sweeps and especially yesterday's events (Nova Prospekt Expo), I think a lot of PKs have been given out too prematurely. With that in mind, I'm hoping to get my PK overturned in time to take part in the Lambda Arc before it ends, since at that point I think too much would have happened to void my character's death.

Counter-Evidence/Arguments:

I'll start off by saying that I don't entirely blame the opposite party (Gordon Freeman) in immediately going S2K, as the map we're on can be quite limiting (and from what I saw in sandbox he didn't really have any way to avoid our PT which was blocking the hallway). I will say that, in my opinion, it was in rather poor taste to interrupt the RP that two of the other officers had with the citizens by immediately rushing them with melee. IMO he could've went for S2RP and I think the results would've been quite different (1 crowbar vs. 1 baton and 1 gun), but I'll leave that question for the other cop players to pursue in their PK Appeals if they want to.

In any case, I believe that under the current PK rules my character should not have been PK'd. First off, he was not part of the party that was chasing Gordon Freeman and was instead simply hanging around the upper fence area when he heard the BSLs go off. He did not go down the stairs to confront Freeman and basically just happened to be in his way. I would argue that this qualifies for a Death through shotcop meaning LINE-3 shouldn't have been PK'd but instead NLR'd.

He did not do anything to provoke Freeman into attacking (simply going for self-defense) and was basically at the wrong place and at the wrong time.

Second, after LINE-3 was downed he was immediately killed without entering bleedout mode. Since there was already a PT chasing Freeman from the train station, he could've been easily saved within the 5-minute timeframe. Another key point is that he landed down the stairs and away from the open sightline that Freeman was using to shoot at the reinforcing cops. Ergo, he was also safe from the explosive barrels.

Proof of counter-evidence:

Logs can validate all of the info that I stated. I don't have any video evidence, but I think there are a lot of saved POVs from Freeman's side of things. I managed to get a hold of one of the fragments that shows his encounter with LINE-3:

Additional Information (Optional): I'll be happy if any other cops that were present on the scene to share some other important facts of the engagement. I don't think Gordon has a forums account so if someone from the Rebel side can pass over his info that'd be great too.

This is another cope post by the combine. Gordon freeman is an established character in the Willard server. Maybe if you hadn't have joined a genocidal alien empire he'd have spared you. There are countless logs showing that your whole argument is a lie.

Let's be real, Lambda players were sitting in their metabases (like the infamous Black Mesa East) for over a year now doing nothing until Freeman logged on and S2K'd everyone for them. So, if I wanted to bring over my issues with how Vance runs his faction, I could. But I don't want to turn this appeal into a flamewar. I just want to be factual and get this looked at as fast as possible.

Someone should send a PK request for this Gordon guy, he's littearly killing off well-written characters left and right without any proper narrative escalation

It's really hot behind the scenes. I know that the CCA Lead (Breen) was really upset with OTA Management because of the Nova Prospekt Expo. Also, apparently Freeman won't log on for a whole week? IMO makes for an impression that he's only there for the CvR, but I'm not one to judge.
 
Gordan Freeman is a minge, he hasn't said a SINGLE word in the server and I would like him banned. I've never seen him do a /me, all he does is S2K.

For example, Harry Malcolm, a character I spent time on in City 17 for many hours and I was getting him developed enough for a cook type, he's started to gain the trust of the right people, anyways.

I've had him since the beginning of V2, I expect him to help hold the door-- or at least thank me. But no, because he doesn't speak or something, no /me's, just complete silence as my character dies in the apartment event (which was very well planned until Gordan Freeman came along)

By the way, why does Lambda get auths to build teleporters now? My cooking skill increase auth was denied for no good reason.

Gordan Freeman makes a fresh new citizen character out the gates and he immediately gets in contact with infamous metagaming group Lambda? How does Barney Calhoun know of Gordan other than from metagame?

There is obviously some anti-roleplay activity going on in Lambda, and I'm tired of it.

This is really iffy too. I think someone should check if Calhoun had rogue auths, cause it's really weird how he just happened to know that Freeman (his steam friend) logged on that time.

FYI it's a known fact that one of the Rebel leads (Kleiner) just bypassed the headcrab taming auths because he had it on some Science RP server before or something. He's also been known to roleplay sending cats through teleporting devices with gruesome descriptions. It's really messed up.

With further information I'd like to retract my statment.

I have received word that the Lambda rebel group have actually orchestrated with the help of staff an OOC meta group to facilitate Freeman's return. The Lambda group with the help of OOC information [Barney] have facilitated the return of freeman. They had a discord server where they planned the return of freeman, they ensured that the player playing "Barney" was around to ensure that he'd get out safely. Then then with OOC information they ambushed a Civil protection team that had captured freeman before ignoring the crime timer to hide in the meta base.
 
The player who played gordon also abused game mechanics (Constant jump and crouch). FearRP was blatantly ignored. Please unpk him.
 
Can we point out how the minge moderators teleport him to Dr. Breen's office in the teleportation sequence that he did? Can we also point out dispatch that took a picture of Kleiner's metabase that Gordan was standing at a window to and no raid happened? This is obvious corrupt mod intervention.
 
I say we move to perma ban the minge known as gordon freeman and UN-PK line 3

That's the thing. The dispatch player was in on it. He was also found on the meta server. Where he co-ordinated with the lambda group to "void" this picture. The picture was deleted by the dispatch player to ensure the secrecy of their meta base.
 
Can we just talk about how Mossman literally metagamed the CCA, typical MCP player switching sides without a rogue auth. how the server council are letting this go AGAIN is beyond my understanding.

The entire rebel side of the server just aren't in it for the roleplay, and I think it's so clear at this point. First Freeman powergaming every single scenario, and what punishment is laid out? Clearly has friends in high places. As @joe moter said, staff team are minging with this teleportation event, literally letting them metagame us AGAIN. I'm not sure if I even want to continue with this anymore. idk why we just dont reset their economy- I mean, why can they have a mech dog but we had our pizza and ice cream removed?????? It's a joke- clear bias.

Because everyone knows that this Freeman minge will make us go into V3, Cafe Baltic doesn't even open anymore, no stores open because of this Lambda mingery.
 
Why don't we move this to a separate complaint thread before this gets locked. The appeal got accepted
