Ah yes, the occasional crying thread about Staff, CT or GM's or whatever
But this is a real problem, so let me begin:

1. NLR/PK

Apparently all the people who died during the whole CP and Rebel shit yesterday in front of the combine based just got NLR'd and not PK'd? Which seems kind of unfair to me as the PK rules have been really iffy and stupid these last few days. I got told that they wanted it to be an NLR because I (Don Lorenzo) executed the CP's and said it should be an NLR and not a PK or whatever? This just isn't true, I neither executed nor said anything OOC during that whole situation.

Also someone asked dudeperson (idk his @) to tell admins to be an NLR, which is complete BS and this should be overturned lmao.

2. Admins not answering

During the whole situation I went behind some CP and shot him into bleedout, afterwards I wanted to drag him away so we could strip him off of his equipment, take him hostage or whatever the hell we would agree on at the time. This however, was not possible due to the fact that the CP's ragdoll body was stuck under the train. I tried to call for an admin, making about 5 @'s about me not being able to move the CP, no answer. Anyhow, today I log on to again @ to try and figure the whole situation out. 1683476935215.png
as you can see... No answer.

3. Rebels being punished for doing anything that isn't passive RP.

I understand, the GM's and Admins and whoever thought of this so called "Arc" wanted it to be more about survival, less about the killing of one another. But you have to realise, Rebels won't just stand still just because they are trying to survive. The Combine has enslaved us for dozens of years IC and there's no reason why we wouldn't do anything against the Combine when given the chance. Venturing out alone will result in 1000 Antlions and Zombies being spawned, venturing out in a group will result in that times 20. Doing anything against the Combine will result in the NZ people getting mad even if it isn't in the NZ, meanwhile they are giving us expos to kill OTA and shit but they are supposed to be neutral?

4. "End of" or "Escape" events just not worth it

Why would I flag on my rebel who is probably a priority 1 enemy of the Combine ATM, to escape the metro system, if there's no benefit for me or my character? I only risk dying because we all know the CT will probably spam 7 million bugs on us.

Adressing part 1
Someone had already executed the officer before you, they said so in looc.
So me and this player spoke and both vouched for a nlr, for I believed there is no need to pk that officer given I was the one to down the officer with my SSG and the other user to execute.
Wether you like it or not.

I find that me shotcopping them and getting cps pkd has no benefit to me in any way whatsoever. The only thing that benefits me is mugging them and making them loose their strong weapons or armor making the cps weaker.
But ending someone's character so we can get some scripts?... Really?
You wanting them to be pkd from jsut a shitty shotcop on our part for some scripts and to weaken them shows malice from you, Embarrassing.

Therefore me and the staff member handling the pk agreed to instead benefit my character and the officer with some passive rp wich is better than just ending someone's developed character over a silly attack that wasn't even planned at all. In the end we both developed our characters further and won more out of it.

So take some copium and deal with it the rp happened it won't be overturned.

I did not execute anyone, that's my point. Someone said "Don executed and said it should be an NLR" but I didn't execute anyone

Still my point stands on why you would want the nlr to be overturned use stupid and just malice.
My point was made

It is funny how rebels wanting the literal COMBINE killed is OOCly seen as problematic but CPs killing rebels, even if unprovoked, is seen as perfectly normal and acceptable.

It is only when the CPs are the ones at an inherent disadvantage that previously acceptable behaviour becomes malice.

My reasoning is is that ICly there would be one less CP to deal with if we go into a fight with the cops, so instead of stripping them down we should strip them down and then fucking blast their head off 😂 😂 😂

CPs kill rebels daily without second thought, PK and no one cares.
Rebels want to do it and suddenly its OOC "malice" and "stupid".

Normalize cop PKs.. Being spared from your character's death should be considered lucky. You signed up to enforce the will of the slave empire, when you lose a fight, you're going to pay the price.

It is my decision to execute an officer for not, I believe there was no need, if we got what we wanted. In the end it's up to Gr4Ss, the pked and the pker to come to a decision.

Now that of cps killing rebels and pking them even if unprovoked is up to them, that is the players decision.
Now if it's of malice or not is subjective to the POV and the circumstances.
In the end it's up to the individuals to come to an agreement.

In this scenario I saw no reason to deliver the pk when ao much more could've been made out of this, wich in the end it did. It provided my and their character some cool development.

All the CPs had to do the entire event was just stash their uniforms and blend in… but cus they ain’t smart, rebels have to be punished because somehow staff doesn’t expect rebels to want to kill combine sympathizers when they’re at their all-time lowest in terms of advantage

Combine players have for the first time ever been put in a position where they need to think smart to not get killed (which is the constant a rebel player has to go through to simply not die in the city maps) and they failed…

Um. Rebels attacked the combine station?

Um. Rebels attacked the combine station?
blend in as the citizens and say the officers went somewhere else

you've also got to remember that in the Tyrants base when there was a ambush with the laser weaponry, they literally had a redo for no reason at all, this shit has been happening for the entire arc

The character development they gained by getting NLR'd and forgetting everything that happened to them

Combine mains try to use their brain challenge (Impossible)
(This is a joke, I am full aware that noone is able to use their brain on Willard)

Oh boi... another thread displaying a complete and total lack of good will between willard players on opposing sides... Daring today aren't we...

If cops executed someone when there was a chance for roleplay and then tried to force staff to overturn the resulting NLR I can guarantee you there'd be a complaint about it. Doubly so if that cop player came into the thread and was saying "well it makes sense IC to kill them lol, we shouldn't just strip their gear and let them go".

Of course that sort of sentiment reads like malice, it sets an awful precedent.
