The shelter lies in ruin, charred black and reeking of burned wood and scorched metal. Most of the building it had been situated in has taken varying degrees of fire damage. The various bunks have warped into ash and twisting, jagged metal. Nothing salvagable remains in the shelter.
The Charity

Beds for the Homeless
All are welcome to the Charity, a homeless shelter in the basement of the underclass housing. None are discriminated against. Grab a mattress and rest. If you find a mattress that is damaged or soiled, please let a Charity volunteer know.Food, Water, Medical
As per Combine law: Food, water, and medical cannot be provided due to legitimate sources existing that provide these. If you are in need of any, please ask a Charity volunteer, and they will point you in the right direction.Shelter Rules
When inside the shelter, we ask that you abide by these rules so as to maintain a safe and peaceful environment. Failing to do so may result in you being asked to leave, and in emergencies, the Civil Protection being called.1. Violence of any kind is strictly forbidden.
2. Illicit Drug Use is not allowed.
2A. An exception is made for alcohol.
2B. Anyone under the influence is allowed inside, so long as they follow all other rules.
3. Verbal conflicts are to be quiet and reserved to the concerned parties.
4. Yelling is not allowed outside of emergencies out of respect for others.
5. Weapons of any kind are strictly forbidden within the shelter.
6. Theft of personal or shelter property is strictly forbidden. Please ask if you need something from the Charity, and it will be made available if possible.
7. Fleeing inside the shelter to evade arrest is strictly forbidden, as this places others in danger.
8. Outside of the previously mentioned rules, volunteers hold the right to ask you to leave if they believe that you are acting in a manner that is threatening, chaotic, or otherwise not welcomed in the shelter.
NOTE: If you believe that you have been removed unfairly, please talk to the Charity Organizer.
Charity Opportunities
All help is welcomed at the Charity. If you are interested in helping the Charity, talk to the Charity Organizer. Please look over the following ways you can help:Volunteer
You may volunteer for the Charity. You may be tasked with various jobs such as finding homeless to direct them to the shelter, directing the needy to resources such as food, water, and medical, overseeing the safety and peace of the shelter, cleaning the shelter, and odd jobs involving the improvement of the shelter as directed by the Charity Organizer.Volunteers of notable time and/or merit may, upon their approval, be added to a list so that others may recognize your efforts.
NOTE: Volunteer work comes with no official pay outside of personal tips and donations given to you by those who partake in the Charity.
Donor
You may donate to the Charity. All donations are welcomed, and your help will not be forgotten. Donors, with their approval, may be added to a list so that others may recognize your efforts, as well as what you donated to the charity.NOTE: Donations do not come with any compensation, or benefits from the Combine government.
Services
Those with a particular service to offer may work in the Charity to provide it. Services offered and guidelines will be negotiated with the Charity Organizer.Charity Organizer - Joseph Holt
