I just think the situation itself was awful. The character simply retained their old property and got killed for it.
The charges in place, The GMing and overall the whole situation was a clusterfuck. While "crime" was comitted it should of been a simple affair not a full on amputation...
I couldn't leave either way. They would just toss me back into the pit again and i'd die and correction, literally there were TWO terminals, THREE counting vendor in the back. The elevator was a null option.
It isn't the fact that Dispatch gave me generous time, It's the fact that they would...
Yet a CP calling me "Lord Moron" asking me to toss myself in a pit of certain death is less of a minge act?
My character is a silly stupid old man, but they aren't made for pure mingery. They're intentionally silly because the creates CONFLICT, ACTION, FUN. Nearly every other character I seen...
I don't care for the perma-revert. I want you to be reprimanded accrodingly. While you are new I'll give you that the situations you pushed me into were both unfair and poorly planned out.
You're ignoring the fact that YOU blocked nearly all reasonable ways out. It's not my fault that the map...
I don't really blame you but whoever roleplayed that Dispatch and whoever were the CP's that pushed me were awful RPers.
It's why I don't really want a PK-appeal, what's done is done but those involved need to be reprimanded
The facts are the GMing was done poorly, The CPs pushed me over a minor violation.
While the combine are a ruthless dictatorship, they're are assimulationist. Borg like. If your useful your useful. They don't amputate random citizens just because they act a little funny, if they activley impead...
- I tried prying the door open to no avail
- I INSPECTED the terminal beforehand and no sticky note. Oh wait, it appears last minute? Cool.
There was literally nothing I could do. Even if the """escape""" plan was unrealistic, the situation that led to it was idiotic in of itself. I mean, being...
Honestly, with how the events occurred that happened to my character. I am more mad about the fact on how he died and the situation was overall dealt with. I felt like I was targeted due to the silly nature of my character and I feel like the solutions provided where not only poor written but I...
Rebels will not and do not act, at all. Partly due to the system's in place, their general attitude but more importantly how the staff deal with it.
People expect rebels to achieve great feats and do more then S2K but when it boils down to it, at the end of the day those feats require admin...
Cool idea though you'd need a lot of active vendors and taxes and especially money sinks to even out the economy, essentially things that people can spend their cash on repeatedly.
More items to spend on such as credits to chip vendors, arm dealers, etc would be one way of dealing with it.
Seems like in all these instances toxicity and bias were the main two elements that lead to each bad interaction, mainly on CW.
- Either the staff or the leads favored a faction at the expense of others, playing to win rather then for roleplay.
- Degenarcy corrupting and influencing others...
The whole point of expeditions is that players create their own prompts for adventure themselves and staff being the stagehands for it. Not the other way around.
While staff COULD do the odd event here and there reactionary prompts are short lived and don't create a lot of meaningful RP. It's...
Reading back on this, while a lot of people disagree with this, personally it's something we should standby. While a detailed /me and typing can be interesting it's the visuals and interaction that really put it all together, the glue.
At the end of the day, it's a game. People want to have...
