Adding to this... Speaking from both the perspective of a previous store-owner, and a customer, I think the way shops were handled in V2 wasn't optimal. Shops were very good at promoting 'community' with the various bars and stalls which cropped up, commerce was a hotspot for roleplay...- Ocean Man
