Civil Protection recruitment is conducted in person (and in-Character) within the district. This notice exists so citizens understand what to expect.

Recruitment cycles open and close at Faction Leadership's discretion.​

ELIGIBILITY
Before expressing interest, ensure you meet baseline standards. You must:

• Maintain sufficient social credit standing of 100 minimum.
• Have at least one immediate family member recorded as living.
• Not be a former military asset unless explicitly cleared.
• Have established residency within the district for at least a month.

Failure to meet baseline criteria results in immediate dismissal from the process.​

STAGE ONE: DECLARATION OF INTENT
Enlistment begins when you approach Civil Protection and formally declare your intent to serve.
You will be required to provide a written statement containing:

• Full name and CID
• Date and place of birth
• Education history
• Pre-liberation occupation
• Current occupation, if any
• Immediate family details
• Reason for enlistment

Your declaration must reflect loyalty, clarity of purpose, and understanding of Civil Protection’s role in maintaining socio-stability.
A log entry will be added to your citizen profile marking voluntary application.

STAGE TWO: PRELIMINARY SCREENING

• Approved applicants will be summoned for a controlled interview. This stage evaluates:
• Compliance
• Motivation
• Perception of anti-citizen activities
• (Your quality of roleplay will also be looked at)

All observations are recorded in your file.

STAGE THREE: MEDICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL REVIEW
Applicants who pass screening are transferred to Civil Medical and Research Union for evaluation. You will be assessed for:

• Physical fitness
• Chronic conditions
• Psychological stability

This stage is mandatory. A simple approval from the CMRU is needed, as long as you are fit to work within the Civil Protection you will be accepted.

STAGE FOUR: FILE CONSOLIDATION AND COMMAND REVIEW
All collected materials are consolidated into a single recruitment file where Command then reviews loyalty, stability, usefulness, and risk. A final decision is recorded in your datafile.

If accepted, you are inducted and processed.
If denied, the file is closed during the current recruitment wave. You are able to apply again when the next application period is opened! When enquiring to apply again, let the unit know and some of the stages may be skipped due to already having the majority of information on hand.

INDUCTION
Accepted citizens:

• Receive recruit designation.
• Are issued standard equipment.
• Are transferred to Civil Protection barracks.
• Are assigned to a command unit for training.

From this point forward, you are no longer a civilian.

OUT OF CHARACTER REVIEW
Most recruitment is handled fully in character. However, Faction and in-character leadership may require an out of character review in specific cases. If requested, you will be informed privately and asked to come here on the fourms to answer the questions below.

Civil Protection service is voluntary. You are choosing to enforce Combine law and to act against anti-citizens.

Failure to perform assigned duties endangers your recorded relatives. Consequently, units without leverage are treated as liabilities.
