To outline the rules and restrictions for vending machines, ensuring that the sale of goods by machine owners is regulated.


Vending machine owners may only stock their machines with products as specified in subsection (2) of this section, in accordance with their respective machine type described in section (2).

Authorized Products are:
a.Beverages under the Alcoholic Permit
b.Beverages under the Non-Alcoholic Permit
c.Request devices under the Electronics Permit
d.Tobacco products under the Non-Alcoholic, Alcoholic, and Luxury Permits
e.Plastic lighters under the Tools & Storage Permit

§ 2. Types of Vending Machines.​

1. To prevent cross-contamination or concerns of health and cleanliness, two variations of vending machines shall be determined by the Civil Workers’ Union.​

a. Beverage Vending Machines shall be permitted to stock and sell products as listed in §1-2(a) and §1-2(b).
b. Tobacco Vending Machines shall be permitted to stock and sell products as listed in §1-2(c), §1-2(d), and §1-2(e).

§ 3. Spatial Planning.​

1. For the purposes of combating overuse of vending machines, machines shall be a minimum of ten (10) meters' distance from the other machines in their proximity.​

§ 4. Price Regulations.​

1. To avoid overly competitive business that damages the economy, all products sold under §1-2 must exceed the base price of the item as listed within the permit system by five (5) credits.​

§ 5. Machine Management.​

1. In an effort to prevent inactive vending machines, a service fee shall be implemented as listed in the Civil Workers’ Union Public Price Page. The service fee will serve as a measure to ensure machines do not remain idle, and will include repair services if the machine is damaged within the term of ownership. The fee may change without notice.​
2. Vending machines are sold for two-hundred (200) credits notwithstanding service and permit fees unless stated otherwise by the Civil Workers’ Union Public Price Page. The price may change without notice.​

§ 5. Enforcement. Machine owners in violation of this act shall be reported to the Civil Workers’ Union who shall issue a warning via written notice. If the owner does not amend their violation within a timeframe to be set by the Civil Workers’ Union management, it shall be revoked along with the issued permits, and the machine confiscated indefinitely by the Civil Workers’ Union.
