Our masters bared their teeth and smiled:
"You have been slaves since you were born and slaves you'll now remain."
He came to remind; About man's repentance.
Bearing the mask of the bird,
bows for somber salutations,
clad in black and carried upon a pale steed.
To subdue humankind, came the Lord of Plagues.
The plague rules with a punishing hand,
and corpses cover the land.

Suffering melancholy, unchains the secret's bearer.
Depression slowly unlightens the mind,
slowly decays the body.
For Satanael steals the morning light.
Writing the year two-thousand and seven anno domini,
The time violence and illness struck Paris.
Here, Lavinia Eve Wacelin lived in squalor.
She began to confidently treat her fellow citizens,
But unfortunately was not able to save most,
From her old enemy.
This was also the time the Clamped Claw was rising,
With an unstoppable might.
Once again a trace of tears and blood covered the land.
Their final victory has crushed the winter's silence.
So God has found her weeping,
And wrath flickered deep within her eyes;
"So thou shalt suffer,
As long ago the one's been crucified."
The keeper of Rex Mundi's mark,
Is rising up within her ability,
Heavenly damnation.
"So thou shall trust the healer."

Out beneath the night skies,
Beneath the waxing moon,
Squatting upon the ground,
Her breath warms up the cool air.
The truth hurts, that she found:
Death and misery.
Rex Mundi's eye for the human race,
That ends in misery.
"My father - Dead - No!"
Dying by the flames... So slow...
She wipes the tears away,
She tries to think...
As clear as the falling rain,
But the hope starts to sink.
Down to this point of a made hell.
Do you have fear?
Yes, you do!
You always will!
For I do, too!
Out of the surgeon's chamber?
Or from the hands of the goat?
Their petals of blood seem to be magic.
For all, we should save the poor population,
From below.
"My parents... My family... No!"

"We awoke through the centuries, our bodies brought to being;
The very soul entrapped in formed clay, sod and stool.
The form so beautiful, so buxom.
Bringing the centuries,
welcome to the land of time.
Our holy books written by a Demon.
A Demon in the Papacy.
A Demon in the Caliphate.
A Demon in Judea.
Born through the astral energies,
their visions to the heads of men,
those pictures getting clear now - sent by the highest 'Angel'.
Through now the centuries of war,
knowledge brought to the world.
Gore stained greens and blues,
as explosions shock the land.
I see the soldiers on the streets,
dead bodies on the ground with the children in between.
The Angels looked on wrought with horror,
for they put down their trumpets and cried.
As heaven wept."

Andrew, a man who I've met through pure chance - within the moment of silliness born through boredom. A moment I do not look back upon; Within this city of poverty and blood with charity killed in Nasby fight - Him, among many others have shown such a light and kindness to me. A man of, what I see, good principle and actual honor - despite the distance of himself and being a fellow foreigner to this land. I have my full trust in him for the foreseeable future, still, a moment I do not regret. He has kept me alive, he doesn't know it but he kept me hydrated for all I could know, nearing my death bed. I should tell him some time soon, he is a hero in his own way. I see a broken man and in many ways someone akin to myself.

Nadine, or rather, Doctor Haas is a woman of a great size. She towers above my meager frame, yet she is rather friendly and gentle - towards me and is only known as such to myself. She is the very woman who has made me a physician within District One, gambling with myself; a stranger, a foreigner from a land where practitioners of medicine are sparse. Nadine took that gamble and I thank her for it. She has taken me under her wing, teaching me the basics of what I've never learned back in London. The EKG machine, never seen anything like it until stepping foot within her clinic. Nadine trusted me and it's paying off, I continue to work under her, diligently. The very woman who had revived my career and passion.

Shin Okada, the leader of the Appachi-Zoku, a political group of sorts. I must admit, I do not understand all the hate for him and his people as they have been donating to both the District and it's people. I see envy and misguided anger from those who hate the group and the people therein. I do see me and Shin seeing eye to eye on a lot of things but we do have different ways of coping and combatting the anger and trespasses against us. I saw an angry man pushed to his limits, at the end of his tether - someone trying their best and in the end it's never good enough... I know that position all to well, story of my life. Yet he's actually made something of himself, he's worked hard along side the people who's with him. That's more than most can say within the district.

I see the new clouds above her head, the sign of the appal. Once a decently extraverted woman, now reduced to a staring shadow of her former self - The very district taking apart her fabric. It's saddening to see such depth be brought down by the evils of man and the spoils of greed from others. I trust in my judgment that she will be better, not expecting for it all to be undone but at least bring back the strength and normalcy. It all seems so sad, genuinely... I remember the first time when we met, she gave me food and pointed me into the right direction. She's one of the reasons why I'm where I am today. If not for her, who knows what would have happened. Ashley and those associated with her are often brought under the sword of judgement and hatred - it's simply not needed; all that born from envy and misdirected anger.
