| Aurelio was born in Modena's beautiful countryside, back in the good old Emilia Romagna located in the middle-north part of Italy, where the mountains and the sea collided and formed a bond that only the luckiest of men could ever dream of placing their sights on. He came from a dynasty of honest farmers who modernized themselves; his father was the owner of one of the most successful agricultural businesses, and he spearheaded the research and construction of some of the most advanced farming machines. Therefore, many great expectations were put on Aurelio's shoulders. Ever since he was little, he had the best possible education... His dad paid for the most sought-after private education: Schools, tutors; he even often brought Aurelio along for a quick trip to the laboratories on the weekends to just let him see the empire that was waiting for him. There was only one slight problem, and it was that the kid was absurdly dense. In all honesty, Aurelio was never the brightest in the room; he was gullible, at times too trusting of others, hyperactive, and worst of all... A complete wreck at school. But one thing was certain: this kid might not have been meant for pen and paper, but he surely was built for physical tasks! You see, as mentioned before... Definitely not the brightest in the room, no, but you can be sure that he definitely was the biggest! This boy loved two things in life the most: his toy firetruck and his grandparents. Good ol' grandpa was about none of that high-tech mumbo jumbo Aurelio's father was so fond of, and the old man sure had the physique to back up the fact that real work is done with your hands, not some tools! And that was all Aurelio needed to learn in life: That most times, taking shortcuts isn't gonna get you the same benefits that hard work can get you. So he spoke clearly with his father once he reached a certain age, and decided to be honest with him. Aurelio could never have been the man his father was, because he wanted to build his own mould to fill up. And his father was actually quite proud of him for that. So he packed up his things, waved goodbye to his family, and decided to transfer to the city to follow his dream since he was a kid... To become a firefighter and help others. |   |
Le Collectif d’Harmonie
   | After the events of the Seven-Hour War transpired, Aurelio found himself relocated to France, now known as ''City 13" under this new world order. He was lost, alone, and confused... Trying to get by with the occasional shift and the ration coupons that came with it. But then, he met a man: Karl Söderberg. That meeting changed everything for Aurelio; he rediscovered his calling to help others, his duty towards the community, and the drive he had back when he was younger to aid the people in need. Thanks to the Collective, Aurelio managed to rebuild himself into a new man, discovering a profound love for the smiles of the people they aided. Seeing the desperation and anguish vanish from their eyes as soon as they received the help they needed, the honest and emotional gratitude they expressed... It helped fill the hole that the occupation left in Aurelio's heart. But when the riots hit, Aurelio had to escape alongside the other remaining members of the collective... Leaving him to feel empty once again. Time passed, and the riots eventually ceased, leaving District 7 in shambles. But thanks to the only surviving founder of Harmony, they gathered the strength to rebuild everything from scratch. Aurelio then decided to roll up his sleeves and form various teams of volunteers alongside the CWU, spearheading various operations of search and rescue to help any civilian who found themselves trapped under the rubble of the damaged buildings, injured by anti-civil elements. He showed them that even in the darkest hour, the flame of hope burned brighter than any fire... That the light of the union could reveal a path towards safety, and that the benevolence of the benefactors for those who were loyal would be even more charitable than any god known to mankind. |    |
Why should you be a councillor?:
I should become a councillor because I believe this character could bring some really good diversity and interactions with the other members. I plan on playing a lawful good character who cares for the people and genuinely tries his best to make this new life under the Combine decent for the others. I made him not so smart because I myself would be rather new to Willard political roleplay if this was accepted.
I've always been in factions such as the Civil Protection, the OTA, and a couple more whose interactions with the loyalist side of the server were pretty much just either guarding important people or prosecuting them. I also have played plenty of other roles, but none that really ever leaned into the hard loyalist RP this position could offer.
To know a bit about me, my name is Fredemund, and I was one of the Terranova transfers back when that community shut down. I've played on this server for a very long time now, taking long breaks and having some nostalgic attacks that made me come back here and there. But now, with the promises V3 has, I plan on re-integrating myself within the community fully. And what better role than this?
