Bug IC Chatting Bug

Essentially, when standing in certain parts of the map, or rooms, or at a very, VERY specific distance certain players cannot see messages from the other. Moving around didn't change it until the one who had an issue hearing then moved to another part of the room we were in. Then he could hear everyone in the room again.


Standing by the poster, he couldn't hear. But standing in my spot he could hear. All other players stayed in the same position. Could not recreate this issue again...

The LOOC message from me !

It seem the bug happen when you are close to wall in this very location, it seem it consider I was "outside" of the room and didn't allow me to see any IC messages being sent in this spot.
Truly a traumatizing experience.

Annoyingly, this happened previously with the Salvage Company where we stood in what we thought was silence for about 15 minutes then started yelling at eachother LOOC lol. One character was inside the building (literally stood under the metal door) and we were all maybe 3 character bodies away outside of the building. Same thing then.

Something does seem very fucky with regards to /me ranges - with nath's character last night being less than two metres away but unable to see any /mes because he was crouched leading to a very drawn out interaction where he thought we were just afk

And on the other hand, I was able to hear a lot of /me from the ration distribution line, while I was deep underground...
