Steam Name: Halostrophe
Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:104817329
Discord Name: Halostrophe
Character Name: Rhodes LeBlanc
Faction/Group: Les Arrivants
Reason for Appeal:
Okay, so I'd like to preface on the main argument of this PK appeal is that after asking the person who played the character Lucille (whom betrayed Rhodes LeBlanc). After seeing their reasonings to explain why their character do as they did. I feel like the reasons are poor and borderline unconvincing to fully justify a betrayal of a peer that they had worked with for an extensive amount of time.
Counter-Evidence/Arguments:
So, in DMs we of course discussed after I prompted them by asking 'What were your character's reasonings' which they digressed. Here are the points they compiled:
"Since, I don't really know what you want at this moment by trying to argue something that the killing of his character was silly,Like, I organized it, spent time gathering the boys via RP, I organized a fake meeting after a real one and we got ready to get you in a spot.Firstly, let's start with this:Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:104817329

So, in DMs we of course discussed after I prompted them by asking 'What were your character's reasonings' which they digressed. Here are the points they compiled:
- The guy has shown to not be unreliable and rash
- Lucille is not a trustworthy individual
- After the events of the beheading, a target was painted on her and Rho', even if it was for a day.
- She didn't like the actions of his leadership
- The fact she had to take up the mantle of organizing people, arming and feeding without much support
- Powerhungry
- Wanted to be the chief of the gang
- Plotting to kill him once she realized that he's not very verbal or cordial with anyone
- Not being paid"
They also claim that they did not 'know' him as well.
My rebuttal was:
1) Unreliable and rash? Not really a whole reason to murder someone
2) Just because one is untrustworthy doesn't default to murdering someone
3) This idea of a target is weak seeing how the officers just gave us a warning, and the anarchists were still in hiding
4) Despite not 'liking' the actions of his leadership, she actively worked and collaborated with him
5) This was a role she decided to play herself to the maximum, and decided to remain silent on. Blaming him for running the logistics of a gang is like the most dumbest reason by far
6) Power-hungry? Lucille as you just expose is equally power-hungry as he is, simple hypocrisy
7) Verbal or cordial? Have we forgotten him rallying the entire district against anarchists? An uncordial or difficult person wouldn't cause this at all
8) Paid? Doesn't outline to be a merc at all and rather treated it as a group project
Okay, so let me explain my main points. A major contention you can point out of all the vague/poor/temporary ones was the fact that she did not like the actions of his leadership. This is completely non-sensical as she was an active/willing collaborator to everything my character executed. Working with the clinic? She backed it. Taking out the anarchists? She backed it. Recruiting people to join? She backed it.
Another one is the mantle they 'took' on despite the fact that it is a simple consequence of RUNNING a gang. What does my character have to do with the logistics of the gang? Their character chose to support everyone with existing materials and remained silence on their dislike of having to play this role.
Power-hungry I guess is thematic to District One but my counterpoint to this one in particular is that she was already equal to him. Especially having known eachother since they first met in District One. Simply wanting to oust your mate who pretty much put you on the same pedastal as him for more 'power' that she already has is relatively weak.
Not being verbal or cordial? This makes no sense because Drifter was rather a persuasive figure that managed to RALLY an entire district for his own means of wiping out the anarchists. A person known to be 'uncordial' would not be capable of doing this. He had good terms with the Precinct, Appachi-Zoku, Salvagers and Clinic for the most part. Lucille herself (their character) has seen this himself.
Not being paid? She was never hired, not treated as a merc, and rather seemingly was in the gang of just having people to rely on. So far, not a lot of people join gangs on the pretense of being a merc or getting paid. She does not fit in that ball park at all. She joined out of a sense of mutuality and understanding.
At last, not knowing him? What do you mean you didnt know the guy who gave you his full name, background and worked with you for over a week?
A lot of this is just meh reasonings that dont exasperate the reason to go as far as killing him. Since the dyanmic is much different than a two rivals having conflict. Everything was built up to be a tight bond.
Proof of counter-evidence:

Additional Information:
If this is to get appealed, on the potential that in my defense I murdered someone's character (Vasil). I believe the whole fight should be voided or altered in a way. Though the odds of this appeal succeeding feels unlikely to me because I guess stuff like this is thematic? But I just feel like with the dynamic I've described here. It is all too weak and borderline cheap to allow.
