Char Backstory
Angelo Turner spent the years leading up to the Seven Hour War working as a low level logistics and first aid volunteer with the Red Cross in North America. He wasn't a surgeon or a physician. His primary role was to set up temporary relief tents, coordinate medical supplies, control crowds during local disasters and provide basic emergency first aid in conjunction with paramedics.

Society fell apart and Turner's life became cruel when he moved to District 1. He was stuck in the Great Pit, where he lived through years of extreme hunger, constant raids and chaotic violence. In the Pit, his basic medical training was a matter of pure and simple survival, without real supplies or clean gear. He learned how to perform rough field dressings, treat infected wounds with whatever he could find, and keep people alive in brutal conditions.

After being selected as on of the 'Lucky Ones' pulled out of District 1, Turner was reassigned into the general city population. He developed the deep trauma and sharp survival instincts in the Pit, and he doesn't see the Civil Medical & Research Union as a moral calling, but his last chance at life. He knows getting a job in the CMRU means stability, proper medical equipment and protection under the Union structure that he'll never be pushed back into District 1.

Questions

What is PPT?

It refers to the protocol for triaging and delivering immediate medical intervention based on a patient's designation, rank, or threat level

When maintaining professional conduct in character, what should be avoided?

Being a member of the CMRU organization, it is important to act professionally and not use informal language, express emotions, or demonstrate any sort of sympathy for those at a lower tier than you as opposed to those on the side of the Union. Do not question anything instructed by Civil Protection or your medical superiors, carry out any tasks without instructions, or depart from the established protocol of the Priority Patient Treatment (PPT).

If uncertain, what should you do?

If you are unsure of a medical procedure, diagnosis or Union protocol, you should immediately stop the action, consult a more senior personnel for advice and follow standard safety containment procedures to prevent expensive errors or breaches. Never guess. When in doubt, obtain proper authorization before treating a patient.

During an abdominal exam, are you checking for oxygen saturation? (Y/N)

No

Are Neurological exams used on every patient? (Y/N)

No

When assessing for shock in patients, what are you looking for?

When assessing for shock in a patient, what we will be searching for is any evidence that suggests that the circulation system of the patient is on the verge of failing. What we will be assessing is whether the skin of the patient is cold, clammy, or pale, and whether there is an increased and feeble pulse rate. We will also look for any sign of tachypnea, as well as disorientation and anxiety.

During contamination control procedures, what should you do?

In case of contamination control measures, it is important to quarantine the affected area and create a secured perimeter to avoid any further spread of the contaminants. Before proceeding to the area, wear masks and biohazard gloves. After ensuring safety, determine the type of contaminant, manage the spills, and then apply decontamination solutions according to the bio-containment procedures for Union. Lastly, report the incident to Civil Protection or the CMRU superiors and make sure that the affected items are disposed of in hazardous containment units.

Action Research is what?

Action research is a pragmatic and reflective methodology in which people assess their own working methods to find problems and solve them instantly. Rather than using outsiders to solve the problems, action researchers go through a cycle of planning an action, taking that action, observing its outcomes, and reflecting on them. This way, CMRU Personnel can keep improving the flow of work according to their working environment.

Specific, measurable, achievable, relevance and time bound is a "What" framework?

SMART Framework, Is a goal-setting framework.

Name two social sciences

Archaeology & Psychology.

What does S-O-P Stand for?

Standard Operating Procedure.

ABOUT ME

Name's Angelo, Just like the In-Game Character, I'm 27 and I'm a IT Engineer, I've been playing Willard's for the past 5 days non-stop. because this reminds me a decade ago when I was 17-18 I was so Invested with playing HL2 Serious Roleplay Servers, Since Half-Life played a big part In my life when I was a kid, and after 10 years sober on Garry's Mod I came by Willard Networks, and as a first Impression I was so excited because the feeling and the experience this server gives you and the atmosphere like a triple AAA game. Which pushed me even more to apply and try out a new role which is the CMRU. I'm really looking forward to try that out If I get the chance to and pass the learning curve of It and experience Medical RP.
