A smiley uplifted journalist walks the streets of Paris. A cafe piqued her fancy.
At the table she sat, only perturbed by a man in formal attire sitting opposite her.
The interview began, a million words between short sentences were exchanged.
Reports of riots, civil unrest - contempt.

There’s lots of places bugs hide, under the bed, in the walls.
Ants scurry to the food you left on your kitchen side 3 weeks ago.
You wouldn’t want to find them in your apartment after a long day, would you?
The journalist knew a lot about these little creatures
They stalked her nights.

In 1982 this journalist was sat around a radio with some comrades, her husband.
Reports of a man, a youth pastor hosting a ‘Counter-Culture’ as gospel flooded their ears.
Hope for a different way of life succumbed to those present.
The flames that burn twice as bright, burn half as long.
All it takes is a little huff, and puff, and the house blows down.

The Non-Corporeal zones make for a boring read.
Perhaps there's better material beyond the vale?
