(Briefly explain the key events or conflicts that make the PK necessary. Focus on facts that show the request meets policy)

It basically started when I offered 50 francs for information on how to access the underground; they asked if I worked for a certain BMD, and I replied that I was just an employee/henchman. I hadn’t had any prior conflicts with gangs or other groups. After a while, we seperated ways, only to run into each other again on the street, which gave us the idea to go in and dig up the antlion blockage leading to the mine entrance.

I was alone, and the two people who killed me caught me by surprise from behind. there wasn't really a fight. I didn't fight back, though I also made a few mistakes, largely because I’m not used to Fight rp. I mostly tried to rp escape it, but because of my character low skill level meant I couldn't get away. In the end, I tried to talk to them to avoid death, but I didn't work.

(I used the radio, thinking I was allowed to do so during my turn and that was my mistake. In the following turn, they prevented me from calling for help, even though I had already yelled for it. It’s worth noting that I thought someone was on the other end of the radio, but there wasn't. I couldn't escape, talk my way out of it, or call for help.)

I wasn't affiliated with any gangs or other groups that might have posed a lethal threat to me from other people. At least, that’s what I think though I could be mistaken, given that I was a henchman/employee for a black-market dealer. At this stage of v2, that was arguably somewhat legal, as there were no laws in place preventing black market to be a thing

I tried to find PK policy, but i couldn't so sorry if its appeal that didn't follow Pk polict, im very sorry. This is my perspective of the whole situation, and i don't know other side of the story.

Do you understand that PKs may carry serious in-character consequences?: Yes

Additional Information (Optional): Well i didn't want to lose my character because i play very rarely (sometimes with long breaks) the skill and time waiting for skill points would be lost and i tried everything to avoid dying. I didn't initiated any fight or conflict, and didn't search for any. I also received feedback, and the reason for the PK was that I had tried to call for help (from gm).

We go around killing people for no reason now? Tf is this
In my application, I wrote: "This is my perspective of the whole situation, and I don't know the other side of the story." The only feedback I received was that it was considered "PK" because I had tried to call for help that is all I know.

I'd like for the staff member managing this to DM me because I have information that (if this appeal is to be denied or accepted) is something I would not want to disclose to the other side due to IC goings.

Hiya. I gave Czesui the information regarding this;

This is information regarding and related to the apparent reasoning of the killing. According to the earlier converse - it was due to an action of calling for help. But apparently we are now learning that you were grievously attacked during the mugging which is practically a mortal wound, anyway, which caused your response of such. So we're still putting pieces together.

We're deliberating whether any of your actions were considered direct or indirect.

It's late for me right now but the above screenshot is the reason why I insisted an appeal be made so we can be sure whether we're right or wrong on the situation.

I wouldn’t call it a robbery, they simply attacked me. Well, I don’t know exactly what a robbery/mug looks like, but striking someone in the back with an axe doesn’t really fit the definition of a mugging. The main point is that my character panicked after all, someone had just struck him in the back. Calling for help was a reaction for fear rp. an attack with an axe is no ordinary mugging, and I think anyone would have reacted the same way. They didn’t threaten me with the use of force, nor did they demand anything. It was simply an attack on me, at least, that’s how I see it.

I can't speak on the motivation for why the attack/mugging occured. But what I can tell you is that we weren't planning on killing you. The armour you were wearing was deemed enough for our attacks to not be fatal. We wanted to incapacitate you and drag you off for RP, but you held E and forced bledout before we could Stabilize you.

I didn’t force bledout, I respawned after 4 seconds whem i felt down. I wanted to keep my character alive, hoping someone might find me. I’m certain I didn’t press the E key, as I was waiting to see what would happen next. Even though you didn’t intend to kill me, you ended up finishing me off by driving an axe into my neck.

*slashes the mans throat with an axe* YOU PULLED E WAAA what were you literally expecting mate? dont know if he did use e but that emote shows enough you had high intentions of killing him.

I wasn't the one who slashed his neck. We didn't go in with the intention of Killing him, this did change after he radio'd for help as that put us into serious danger of retailation, so taking him out meant one less man to deal with, the thought process behind this would've been an NLR. I should rephrase that we wanted to mug then drag him off for interrogation, but the plan changed with the radio.

Sure lad.. Draggin the corpse was your escaping plan too? Dont lie to us here now.

No need to get emotional buddy. We dragged the corpse over to the bushes to hide the freshly mauled to death corpse (and loot scripts). We couldn't have just left it out in the open.

I also found it interesting how you logged back on and B-Lined over to our position despite Greg telling you to come to the mines as we disposed of the body, very interesting.

An mug that begins with a direct attack doesn’t sound like a typical tactic or an attempted abduction for interrogation. though, of course, I could be wrong. I assume you had some sort of plan, but what was I supposed to do when two guys started chopping me with axes? I’m simply requesting that the NLR be applied, as I had absolutely no chance of saving my character because of my skills.

And how was I supposed to know what your intentions were? To me, it was simply murder you were both there. Maybe you didn’t plan to kill me, but your Friend might have.

I don’t want to argue or anything like that, but I genuinely feel bad about what happened to my character, I was hoping to have a GM for this scenario, but in the end, that didn’t work out (i asked to add GM to it in looc chat).

You were better equipped then we were and therefore we couldn't afford to take a risk. I can't speak for Schizo as IC I was not informed that the attack was taking place (when my group leader attacks someone, I follow suit).

I again can't speak on Schizo's behalf but I'm perfectly fine with an NLR without refund (or with refund if we get to keep the loot). Some other guy got killed, you get the drill.

I understand that you didn't have another plan and couldn't be held responsible for your teammate's actions, there were two of you, and perhaps one of you made a mistake. However, I’m not sure if the risk was worth it, considering I had a hazmat suit, a pickaxe, weak armor, and a toolkit. I just want to understand every side of this conflict and reach an agreement.

edit: I did a mistake when giving info about my loot to GM, i did not have hatched on myself when attack accured, i hide it in the locker before all that (few hours ago, making space for ores)

That seems like your taking S2K elements into a S2RP situation, in reality armor would not do much for an entire fire axe slashing someone. You did not even make an initial attempt of trying to say that you are mugging him but instead you just attacked him.

P.S. Depending on what is further revealed, if anything, this also just seems like you attacked him only to get some minor loot which feels like a big case of mala fide and that in the past was strictly against the PK rules if not the main rules. But I know now stuff is relaxed, but still, if your only intention was majorly harming another character to the point of death just for a little loot...

If you read above, which clearly you didn't. You'd know that I'm not publically disclosing the motive behind the attack/mugging, but there was a motive, besides human greed. My character has eyes, he can see the better-equipped man infront of him; if they engaged in a fair fight, chances are either one of the two dies, or at the very least gets seriously injured. The better move was the sneak attack carried out. And what do you mean "Say" we were mugging him? You mean ICLY say "Hey man we're about to mug you, that cool bro?". This isn't some random we attacked, we were talking with one another before this and mutually agreed to go to the mines together. Context matters, learn it before making bold claims.

you say here about the motive about attack/mugging. The reason for the attack keeps changing. instead of explaining why it happened and what your side did, this whole confusion just makes things worse for everyone. I’ve lost track of what’s going on, so I’m just waiting for a final decision. One of you had a fire axe and light armor/rebel kevlar, yet you’re claiming I was the one with the best loot. You easily overpowered me, both because of your gear and the number, 2v1. even if we had fought on equal terms, I still would have lost. I didn’t have anything particularly valuable on me, yet I’m being portrayed as the one who was "better prepared," when in reality, I had practically nothing.

Okay, well I'll summarize here:

My partner lured you towards the blocked-off mine while I tagged along. As you had your back turned to us, my partner launched a sneak attack to put you out quickly (he rolled 22 in strength, which realistically should've taken/knocked you out), I then come in (In hindsight, I should've RP'd the surprise a little, so my bad) and strike you as well with another 22 hit. You summoned enough strength to radio for backup, which changed the situation entirely from a mugging to murder. You begged for mercy, which would've been granted to you if you did not radio for help; schizo finished you off and dragged you to the bushes (I didn't actually know he killed you, which is why I rephrased what I said earlier, there wasn't much communication on either part). But you somehow died, not saying you Forced E death, but it seemed like that. After a while we get your stuff and drag you over to a disposal spot, to which Marshals character suddenly comes back online, Sprints directly over to our location, stares at us, then runs away. And that was it

I'm mostly speaking on my behalf when it comes to better equipment, you could've every easily taken out my guy since he was unarmoured. Even then, why risk a fight when you could sneak attack and win. I'll end my posting here and wait for a final verdict, thank you.

Oh boy me and greg told each other he would go mining ICly. I had to log off for private reasons and when I got back, I literally searched the whole forest thrice before stumbling upon you by chance. I even asked a cop to search you because greg wasnt responding to my radios. Be a better guy and dont try to call me a metagamer twin. Likewise, my character had every reason to scan the whole area.
