It's mainly because we keep playing with the prices/settings to see what is perfect/not good. Also, sometimes, restarts have an oops because GMod is shit and messes up our settings. :(

The price is adjusted by the CCA, not by devs. So they just change it every now and then. So whatever they do affects the pricing.

it makes sense, i just need to shout at cca that it costs like 60 credits to make a croissant and 50 for a loaf of bread

i understand this idea, but tbh - you're not going to have enough players to get a political movement going to reduce prices right now, and when cloth costs 18, and it costs 77 per white mixture (straight from bartereing menu and not including profit margins from shops) then things are getting ridiculous.
