Agreed. I've found a effective path for scavenging, picking up caches from the Xenian cave and then go to the Smuggler. All in one run. Again, bandana's are a great and cheap way to keep slow the build up of spores. Gasmask for long term time in the sewers when you want to do a quest or fight.
