Implemented Stop having exemptions for union factions baked into rules

Perfect <3 This is resolved for me if that's the case :)

Implemented Stop having exemptions for union factions baked into rules

It's silly, it's one sided - almost every situation you want to avoid happening to cops you also want to avoid for rebels. The specific rule that I think needs to be changed: although historically there have been others. To be clear, this is relating to the "Raids and Sweeps do not need a...

    No scanners in the sewers

Maybe, but the scanner chased the surviving vortigaunt off after it died. I'm not talking about this specific situation though, I think scanners underground in general are silly and they don't need to be there. What happens is a scanner dies while surveying the underground? Major sweep...

Overhaul the Sewer PK rules entirely.

In terms of how rebels use sewers, there are smugglers underground that rotate periodically and you visit as an alternative to the normal shipment ordering BMD system. Everyone has access to them and can buy/sell from them, but people generally just sell to them to get rebel currency which they...

Overhaul the Sewer PK rules entirely.

No rebels exist permanently underground, we don't even roleplay underground. I think you just aren't aware how willard rebel RP works at the moment.

Overhaul the Sewer PK rules entirely.

The problem we've had with sweeps is this, there are currently three reasons that OTA will sweep: 1. Two cop patrols die 2. A camera is destroyed 3. A vortigaunt is spotted What we think is silly is that OTA are called when rebels destroy cameras that the Combine places underground, and if a...

No elevator for you, stay out of sewers - my house. We blew it up for a reason 😎

Overhaul the Sewer PK rules entirely.

If willard used s2k, this would be the only way. But TBC seems to be designed to allow people to run, most damage is very low, you run way faster without your weapons out, and your enemy has to sacrifice their ability to fight if they pursue you. The idea that killing everyone is the only way to...

    No scanners in the sewers

Sending manhacks when you see rebels/vorts underground would be very cool, rather than immediately sending cops in - although I don't know if they work in TBC.

    No scanners in the sewers

This is cool! I'm not fussed about the specific situation that happened earlier, just the idea of scanners being underground in general is silly to me. I don't think it would've effected that fight at all.

Overhaul the Sewer PK rules entirely.

My understanding is that RLs lead sweeps, not dispatch - and RLs have the power to hold people back from sweeps if they want to, whether it's requested or not. Two vortigaunts randomly ran into cops underground, six were close enough to be relevant to the fight. One vortigaunt was surrounded and...

    No scanners in the sewers

For some reason scanners have been allowed to go underground to tag rebels/vortigaunts, I think this is pretty silly. We're told that the Union never aggresses, and then they send a scanner underground which if it sees any rebels/a vortigaunt guarantees a full-strength sweep.

    Enforce PK rules

There is nothing forced about this situation, you signed up for it when you became a cop - everything afterwards is managing consequences. I don't care if you were forced into a sweep after signing away your autonomy, this is the trade you made as a character. If cops keep getting fucked, then...

    Enforce PK rules

I can speak for me and my entire group (barring one person who has been mad at OTA a lot) that we have don't have any dislike to any individual CP/OTA characters or players, we used to when Spine was around and I didn't hide the fact that I thought his leadership and character was bad, but he's...

    Enforce PK rules

I don't care whether it's equal or not, it's about whether it makes a better server. And so far, it has done - the time of PK immune cops is HL2RP history, we've moved on.

    Enforce PK rules

If cops run in all retard mode and all die in a sweep, then that's their fault. No conflict on Willard so far has resulted in a wipe for either side, the option to retreat has always been present and taken. Dispatch will force you to sweep, but your RL is in charge and can order a retreat, and...

    Enforce PK rules

Vortigaunts are forced into situations by their whitelist that get them PK'ed, the idea that your whitelist comes with risks shouldn't be a shock to anyone. Cops are always able to withdraw from firefights and have done before to avoid dying, the only time that fights have been close have been...

    Implemented [Script] BMD Overhaul

Any resolution to the rebel side of the server that doesn't resolve the smuggling issue seems like a major mistake to me, there was a planned function for it, and now the system is only used to generate a worthless currency.

Combine Factions and the Raid Timer

This is a repost of a previous compliant, not because I was unsatisfied with the outcome, there was no outcome or explanation, I'd appreciate at least a response even if it's going to be "lol dont care". My character is still living with the consequences of this chip charge that should never...

Implemented Owning an apartment gives you a "well rested" skill/attribute boost.

This might be a viable alternative but also might help, having a bed item that if people flag off their characters nearby they wake up with a buff would be a viable way of making it work. Personally, I don't think this is super necessary, but if you're going to do something like this, having it...
