I truly comes from just not having an appropriate place to write a short story. Thanks, you get me.

Yes I did you fucking liar. It's called the short stories forum isn't it?! Lol. I know short stories is some side-wing of Willard i'm not really involved in but we need a little short story to keep the interest alive. I hope you enjoyed it. I put pictures in it so you wouldn't become bored.

Trust is no longer affordable, a Night Shift™ short story. Industrial 24 was always usually quiet at night. The rhythmic clanging of distant machines and the low hum of the suppression fields blanketed the city in an eerie gaze. The streets were deserted, except for the occasional patrol of...

You won't or you can't? No matter. You came to the dark trying to read. Good luck Liam.

I know this will come as a surprise to you Liam, but this forum is centralized around a Roleplay server. This is a roleplay story. I can provide some links or offer some references to help educate you if you need. Just lmk

Nope, we work for YOU!

George, I don't know what happened but... I miss ya bud! Enjoy this commendable story that reminds me of a very dear encounter we had during one faithful Night Shift™. The stale air of Industrial 24 hung heavy, the choking smog mixing with the metallic tang of rusting machinery and ash. The...

Willard isn't back yet, but when it is... we will be there, night and day.

Who actually is this guy? I've literally never, ever heard from him or seen him before this day. @Hiros if we're going to start cannibalizing, start with this one.

Okay, this is a little bit overboard, though we appreciate your enthusiasm we do not want to KILL the dayshift.

Hello fellow Willardians, my name is Tsunami, and a lot of you know me, but some of you don't. I am the founder of the "Night Shift™ initiative" which aims to bring activity to the server, during times in which it's not very active, more specifically, we're talking about Late Night NA time...

I mean if people just got it the first time that mafk wouldn't have to make 200 threads. What you're seeing here is passion and the work to back it up. Though Nick can be only slightly cringe, he's correct in what he's saying here. Edit: I'm only calling Nick "Slight Cringe" so I have an out if...

We gotta keep those nightly workshifts going to bring what little people we have... Together.

Your honorable Willard Staff, I am making this suggestion on behalf of the Night Shift Committee including but not limited to the Citizen, Combine, Vortigaunts, and Civil Workers, to put forth a suggestion to move the daily restart times 3 hours forward in the server. Why do you ask? Well, as...

I was almost certain to pick you out of this crowd and be a total douche to you for no reason, but since you're an OG I will change my mind about it and we're basically friends now.

Thank you for the kind words. I am a clockwork OG so it just comes with the time. See you on the battlefield!

As a reminder, we are playing Half Life 2, which is built on similar premise of the holocaust. It's literally derived from the Nazi Regime it's just a futuristic version. See: Armbands, Gas Chambers, Oppressed Society based on class. I mean, duh. - He is a part of Civil Protection, duh times...

I've been waiting for a time to say this, first of all, Nick, you are mostly correct in a lot of the stuff you wrote here. It's not all perfect, but you are right. There needs to be a deeper dive, and the next generation of Civil Protection need units to look up to. So what makes a good Civil...
