A suggestion to fix everything wrong with my life; and yours

Simply put, the application format for events in Short Stories etc is outdated and burdensome; especially for older players. I suggest that instead of having to apply to every single event even though there is never a ton of players interested is frankly annoying.

I suggest remove the need to write a book to apply for an event. Make a general application to be accepted as a participant in Short Story events and only require a short summary of what character you will play.

On top of this, for players like me who’ve played CP etc please remove the requirement to have a whitelist on the main server to have a character in a 2-day etc event. No one wants or needs to apply every single time to every event unless it’s a main character.

I rest my case.​

Open format apps are nicer, which allows a person's creativity to be the spark that should drive them for the event they're going to play.

I get quality control is the goal but by making an application into general short stories participation, you can still add a section that players fill out to show they have good quality rp. It’s jsut for players like me who don’t really have time to play on the main server to any decent capacity due to work, events are the only way to get proper rp; applying to them just changing some details is task.

I think you can still maintain quality control though a one app entry to short stories and to be honest, there’s been a lot of questionable rp’ers thatve made it into events anyway.
