In the old west lies a small town stricken with drought and misfortune.
The residents have decided to make a journey to the east in search of greener pastures.
Along they way they encounter hardship and violence but they may still yet make it to better lands.

Backstory:
The small town enjoyed development for a decent while but one day the water ceased to flow through the surrounding lands. And as the residents of the town prepared their food stocks bandit attacks started. Seemingly these attackers knew exactly where the riches of the town lay. Now starved of the food and supplies needed to last the drought the townsfolk decide to pack up what they can and leave. Now on a long stretch of bright desert sand they ride out in search of far lands.

Roles
Town Resident: Townsfolk like shop owners, laborers, and bounty hunters. (0/∞) -depending on the backstory you can start off with different items or contribute in different ways to the group-
Sheriff: The voice of law and reason in the group, although he seems a little shifty as of late. (0/1)
Special/Other Characters: Some other character that does not apply to the other two roles. (?/?)

Time of event: 23 and 24. I am thinking of a start time for both days around 1PM or 12AM EST (GMT-5).

Application format

Saddam "Six-Gun" Hussein: The Desert Outlaw

In the dusty frontier town of Tikrit Gulch, nestled between the rugged canyons and sun-scorched plains, a boy named Saddam Hussein was born under a blood-red moon. From an early age, Saddam showed an unshakable ambition, and it wasn’t long before the townsfolk whispered his name with a mix of awe and fear. His father, a wandering cattle rustler, vanished when Saddam was young, leaving the boy to be raised by his ruthless uncle, a sharp-eyed gunslinger known as "Mad Kairallah."

Under his uncle's stern tutelage, Saddam learned to shoot straight and think quicker than the lawmen who roamed the territory. By his teenage years, he was already riding with one of the most notorious gangs in the Mesopotamian Range. But Saddam wasn’t content to be a mere outlaw; he had grander visions.

He worked his way up, outwitting rival gang leaders and sheriffs alike, until he seized control of the Black Hat Gang, uniting the disparate bandits under his iron-fisted rule. His gang wasn’t just a band of thieves; they were a shadow government, running protection rackets and controlling the trade of cattle, gold, and illicit whiskey across the frontier.

Saddam earned the nickname "Six-Gun" for his uncanny ability to take down six opponents in a single showdown without breaking a sweat. Legend has it that during the infamous Raid on Basra Creek, Saddam faced down a posse of thirty men. When the dust settled, he was the last man standing, his black duster billowing in the hot desert wind.

But power always invites challengers. The U.S. Marshal Service, led by the relentless lawman General George "Gunsmoke" Bush, set its sights on Saddam. The tension between the two culminated in the Great Mesopotamian Standoff, where bullets flew like a sandstorm and alliances were tested.

Saddam’s reign eventually ended in a dramatic capture after he was betrayed by one of his closest allies, who traded him for a wagon full of gold and a promise of freedom. He was tried in the dusty courthouse of Fort Baghdad and sentenced to hang. Yet even as he faced the gallows, Saddam’s legend lived on, a testament to the Wild West's ruthless spirit, where ambition and grit carved empires out of the unforgiving desert.

Update: Unless you want a specific backstory the role of town resident will be open for free (I will have the server without a password on event day).
I have also decided on around 1PM EST (GMT-5) for the start times on both days. If you wish for a different time tell me.

I have a hard time deciding, so I'll just head for town resident when the event comes up. I've been thinking about it but have failed to make any specifics in terms of a character.

Just reminding y'all that if you have input please share it. Also for some clarification the event will be like this: a RP event focused around going from location to location on an infinite desert map. There will be gunfights where the actors for the attackers will shoot to miss allowing for more combat. I am also drawing heavy inspiration from Red Dead Redemption 2 and the scenes of long rides. I have also added a decent amount of music coming from RDR2. If you have any more questions please ask.

If you plan on attending, even if you are just going to join as townsfolk, please let me know on discord or here so I can adjust for stuff.
