I still remember how back in c24_4 we had one or two food crates that if opened gave you different types of food. I think this could be increase the amount of food variety that rebels can eat. Because lets be honest, the second someone gets marked as anticitizen the only thing they will eat is skewers or basic roasted headcrab.

It's simple really to implement, just setup the different food crates around sewer so that rebels have variety in their food while still having to get it

hell naw. Communicate with the slummers / civs for food rather than hoarding too much shit for your own good.

you should not have to rely on risking your life everyday just to get salt

"Risking your life" = Asking someone to pay for salt while giving chips or credits to them ? 💀
every second a marked anticitzen is in slums is a risk. As a rebel player i can say i never feel safe in sewers or anywhere. At any moment a scanner could spot you or even coming too close to a camera and you are cooked.

Too bad.

you can't have someone be cut off from making food especially when antlion and zombies are very rare because they dont wanna risk going to the surface to beg strangers for food

So... you put yourself in a situation that got your character perma punished (BOL'd) and you dont want to create roleplay by asking others to smuggle food for you... if we have food crates it breaks the point of having ANY connection to the slums including the decreased interaction with the stores when processing deals. If the staff give you food crates they simply destroy all potential roleplay that you or others could create. Freed vortigaunts just slapped a note on the quest board to give any ingrediants to them for materials / chips while you for some reason should be free from consequences?

im not even marked as rebel or bol lmao?
You spoke for the BOL'd players and I responded against your claims. At this point you aren't even responding to my comments so ill take it you have nothing else to say.

I think exotic xen foods from infestations would be fun.. or get a random mushroom from the back of a table and test if it gives you diharrea, makes you trip, kills you or tastes MID

i mean keep in mind this would not simply replace any opportunity for them to RP with citizens, but forcing them to risk their lives more than they already do is just excessive. I'm not talking about adding crates filled with high quality food, i'm simply talking about adding basics like salt and margarine. There is no harm in allowing a rebel to get salt and margarine.

Also it simply is not worth the risk to get food or ingredients from people, unless you know someone you can trust enough you woun't risk it.

And you might say "Too bad" or "thats their issue" but that just means that the effort outweights the prize. Just like you would not go on an expo that you know is dangerous to get a shitty reward, neither will rebels risk their lives for a pot of salt and butter.

ngl thats a good compromise that also makes sense, I mean you have all these random mushrooms but can't do anything with them. My main reason for even making this is simply because unless you go on expos [which can be dangerous] or risk it making deals with people. And mushrooms would honestly make a perfect solution.
