Hey, I'm Equinox. I've heard great things about this community from my great friend DeNuke, and it actually has me more excited for HL2RP than any other server out there at the moment.
As for who I am? Some of you may know me from other communities, or perhaps not, I'm not one to make a name for myself. I started playing HL2RP about 6-7 years ago back in 2012 or 2013. Started out at RealityRoleplay which was owned by Hellzone. After that community fell apart, I moved to The Earthfall Network which was what I'd say my best time in HL2RP by far. After the many incarnations of TEN, when it finally bit the dust, I kind of just wandered about, sometimes dabbling in projects of my own, of which there came no true fruition. After another one of my long hiatus', I've heard that this community has concepts and ideas worth supporting, so I thought I'd just hop on the ride.
In the end, I'm just here for good, engaging roleplay. When it comes to Half Life 2 RP itself, I love to roleplay, and when there's no truly good servers out there (like these times we find ourselves in) I either choose to not partake, or I completely flip switch and begin brainstorming projects and such to help create roleplay until it either comes to fruition or a server pops up that looks promising.
As for me personally, when it comes to other people, I'm rather laid back. I reciprocate what others give me (unless professionalism says otherwise) and easy to get along with. Say hello, I don't bite. I like quite a few things. I love Warhammer 40K, Half Life, the metal genre of music, horror (Halloween is my favorite holiday), and world-building/concept creation. I also like to plan out things in written form. DeNuke can bare witness to my documents.
That's all I got for now. I am always open to questions, I love to answer them. Ask me about anything you want. Other than that, I'll be lurking about to see where this place goes. I wish you all best of luck in getting this going!
