It's ironic... I spent all my time digging graves and praying over them now, I have nobody left to dig my grave and pray for me. I've wasted this life, I haven't contributed anything to anyone in this accursed city, and all I've given are death threats and disappointment. I'm sorry Laura, Ray, Tar, Gus, Oris, Kareem, Abdullah, Lex. Forgive me for what I've done.
I have left my final thoughts on the people I have encountered throughout City 24 in this profile as a final goodbye. Although since this IS a CP database I have only one thing to say to whomever is reading this...

<Ah... that old nickname, I had originally got it after giving somebody a skewer in the slums. It used to be a name that envoked happiness and a message to all in the vicinity that the worst was behind us. But after some drastic actions that nickname became one to fear, it no longer represented a generous old man but a crazy old fool who refused to let his past remain as just history and nothing more. Background:
John Lewis was born in Tuscany, Italy to an Italian father and a Russian mother, where he was raised for 14 years. his father would then send John and his mother to Argentina shortly before being assassinated
After leaving high school he began working for a local Argentinian man at a general store just outside of Buenos Aires or current day City 6. The store however had seen tremendous financial trouble due to the costs of being near a major city and the lack of sales to make up for it, causing the owner to borrow money from a local gang at the time. The owner had to deal with the now giant debt the store had accrued, he would have to dispose of the gangsters. The local police were unreliable and sluggish to deal with the gangsters- a popular theory being that the police chief was being bribed and constantly delayed investigations into the gang's members, so the store's owner would have to find- or rather make a solution to his problem. He spoke with his most reliable worker at the time, John Lewis, and asked him to deliver some sealed packages to certain locations. It didn't take long for John to see the news and realize the "packages" were actually IEDs being planted outside several gang hideouts and fronts. after confronting his boss about the packages, John realized he could exploit the situation to make some extra money, offering his boss to continue getting rid of the gangsters as long as he was paid extra for each job. John would need a disguise if he were to continue doing it in broad daylight, he quickly searched through his belongings and found a black and gold comedy theater mask from a play from years prior. John would continue to plant the IEDs, however on occasion, he would use an opportunity to deal with a prominent gang member there and then with two bullets to the head.
One thing led to another and John Lewis was responsible for assassinating an entire gang's worth of leaders, all while wearing a black and gold comedy theater mask to hide his identity, all at the age of 27. After a retaliation by the few remaining gangsters Lewis' boss at the time was killed.
Lewis used the saved money and whatever he could take from his boss' safe to enroll in a culinary school and to open his own diner "██ ███████ ██ █████" in honor of his late mother.
AFTER 24
After leaving City 24, Lewis went to Rome, meeting a young man named Aaron on the way. after meeting with rebel leaders in Rome and completing several assassinations with IEDs he was directed to attempt to go back to 24 and contact Oris, after failing this mission he redirected his attention to the mission he tried to accomplish by leaving 24 in the first place- finding his son Tonio.
When he arrived in City 17 he acted as a semi-BMD member and assigned some jobs to slummers, However, he was still unable to find his son amongst them. Karma would eventually turn on John- two men whose family had been destroyed by the collateral damage caused by John's bombs ambushed him and killed him after a lengthy firefight. One of the men was a rogue unit named Eliyah Green who's sister had been caught in the explosion of one of John's bombs, the other man being the same Aaron he had met in Rome- his brother had been killed alongside Eliyah's sister.
Aaron took John's signature silenced M9 pistol just as Tonio discovered the two hovering over his father's corpse.
