THE BLACKANTLER, also named "Kindly Alien Moose", taxonomically designated "Xenoincola Miseri", is a massive, incredibly long-legged stag-like beast believed to have originated from the Xenian isle regions.

Overview and Origins
Discovered within the Xenian Malignance Zone, The Blackantler is believed to have evolved within the Borderworld, Xen. Its gigantic forelegs which run behind its back similarly to those of an Antlion, and utilizable forelegs make it incredibly capable of jumping and running. It is believed that the two species originated from the same evolutionary chains. Incidentally, it is uncommon for a Blackantler to be attacked by an Antlion. Their primary predators are Panthereyes, which have evolved to pursue them from upper regions and get a drop on them before they might flee. The canopies of the Malignance Zone and similar zones are known to leave the Blackantler vulnerable.

The antlers of the Blackantler (which are only rarely black) are efficient at repelling some predators, however, their primary purpose in evolution was to allow them to destroy structures that might impede a fleeing Blackantler. In this, they are cataclysmically powerful.

The Blackantler's antlers are capable of breaking through or destroying some of the following:

-Rotten Wood
-Drywall
-Loose Brick
-Biological Matter
-Thin Metal
-Thick Glass
-Many other structures

The Blackantler is known to be remarkably intelligent, scoring on intelligence tests on the same level as the smartest of dolphins. This puts them on equal, if not superior intellect to humans. In contact with most living creatures, The Blackantler is remarked to be rather kindly, hence its taxonomic name - it will not attack unless threatened or recognizing a species as predatory.

As a riding mount, they are tamable much the same way as a terrestrial horse - assisting it in escaping danger, feeding it regularly, and learning to manipulate its antlers might prove sufficient to tame a Blackantler. In many cases, it will simply choose not to be ridden by certain humans - whether or not it is to become a mount is entirely up to itself.

I like it. Feels like something that could exist in Half Life. May even work as an Ambiguous Details lore piece since it is a Xenian creature, meaning many humans may have seen, or at least heard of them.

Looks good. Going to move this in to Legends and Rumors considering it is inside of the XMZ.
