Minimum two paragraph backstory on the event:
The Caledonian Coille has peaked the interest of the combine; especially the CPRD who wish to understand it. With authorisation from the directors the group of volunteers set off from City thirty-one on a ship; destined to Dundee, a city that is half-corroded by this unnatural presence of trees and plant-life and half destroyed from failed attempts at a successful combine colony. Accompanied by overwatch transhuman arms, additional medical union volunteers and civil protection units that are desperate for recognition, they arrive at the destroyed city unharmed and with supplies to last them for a couple of days. As the rumours go along, the city is a rampant smuggling place for members of the forest and anti-citizens alike; though this is primarily maintained by the transhuman arms already at the scene as the original outpost failed to provide satisfactory results. That is all the information the union was willing to give the group, the rest; they'll have to figure out themselves...

The three researchers that were crazy enough to go along with the expedition, if all three die; there is no point in pushing further forward.


Overwatch Containment Soldiers (0/5) [WL Preferred]
"High value assets present, deployment authorized."
Two transhumans that accompanied the group alongside three additional units stationed at the outpost, they are more self-centered towards keeping combine 'assets' secure rather than the group. Due to the high risk factor involved the combine decided it was best to send off grunts.


Civil Protection (0/6)
"I better get a promotion after this."
Unrighteous units dedicated to helping themselves; attending the expedition only to receive recongnition for their work in a hostile enviroments, they care little about the group but must keep them alive for command to be satisfied with their work.


Civil Medical Union (0/4)
"No, don't touch that! We have no clue what it is!"
Sympathetic members of the group that wish to keep everyone safe and alive, though to no avail with the stubborn nature of them. Constantly prodding at everyone to make sure they don't attempt something stupid...

The inhabitants
"This is oor land! Get tae fuck away!"
Survivors of the fittest, they adapted to the forest and live in small communities around the highlands.


Creatures
Xenian in nature, these monsters adapted to the forest enviroment; camoflaguing themselves or receiving ridiculous evolutionary attributes, they are incredibly small in number as the inhabitants fend off their species.


[In addition to this, there will be xenian creatures in the final encounter map and day 1 expedition.]

Anti-Citizens
"Shit! The combine, they're here!"
Primarily only seen inside the city, they are often not even noticed due to their incredible hiding ability; only existing to smuggle or attack other anti-citizen groups for resources; most are too afraid to even attempt to attack the combine.

I'm adamant about keeping the first and last map in the list however I'm continously searching for better maps for players for the first day and night.
