The Soviet Reclamation Front has divided, and only the most zealous of its followers remain... embedded into a last fiery breath... the "Third" Army.
The Third Army, one of the most-prestigious field armies of the Soviet Reclamation Force (S.R.F), is a fearsome military formation known for its devastating employment of combined arms operations. Coupled with its battlefield experience, the Third Army has proved itself an indispensable element in the war against the Combine. In its most recent operation, the Third Army dealt a severe blow to the Combine in a pitched battle - with multiple full-strength divisions on both sides. Through pure grit and determination (along with plenty of infantry, artillery, and armor - most notably the 51st Guards Artillery Division), the Third Army managed to both kill the Combine's most experienced field commander and capture multiple strategic landmarks and locations. In turn, this created an opportunity for the other field armies of the S.R.F to commit to a full-scale offensive against the Drome - penetrating City Three's defences and pouring into Moscow itself with enmassed artillery, armor, and infantry.
Of course, the war is far from over. The Third Army now finds itself in intense urban combat in City 3 - fighting street to street, apartment to apartment, and block to block. It has lost much of its former heavy equipment, and keeps its greatest military-grade hardware stacked in bunkers incase of a Combine offensive... until that stock is somehow replenished.
The Third Army is also one filled with highly competent figures, such as the legendary Vladimir Sterlinkov Borisovich - Marshal of the Third Army. Zealous in his belief in Marxism–Leninism and the overall supremacy of Communism, Borisovich is a man of pure will and grit that seeks to remove the Combine from the Motherland and Europe and, if he still lives, to fully eliminate the Combine from the entirety of Earth itself.
Though entirely far fetched, he is accompanied by his unparalleled expertise in commanding the elements of warfare, the Combine seeks every opportunity to terminate the man and his army. Likewise, other figures such as Isaak Pavlov and Andrey Odintsov are also on that kill list for their contributions to the Soviet war effort and skill on the field.
The future is ever uncertain, but the Third Army will always be at the helm of all and any fanatical endeavours - be that at the last days of the S.R.F or at its "victory parade" at City 24. Delusions of pure grandeur.
