Currently, when you finish a shift, the terminal automatically adds a datafile entry that tracks how many social credits they have been rewarded.

As a member of management, it would be really helpful to also see how many monetary credits had been rewarded. Big help when trying to do bookkeeping and to be able to check something ICly without staff intervention, which is essentially crucial for spotting out potential bad actors and something we do not have the power to do through the limitations of the system.

Upon clicking view, it would be cool if instead of Finished Workshift, it stated the amount of credits and social credits.
i.e:

POINTS: 6
CREDITS: SMALL COUPON

ironically all the management members say yes...

Any how, doesn't MOC already know this information?

This opens up more avenues for RP, including corruption and the pursuing investigations.
It will add for more opportunities, while also requiring you to be more diligent in the way that you decide to steal funds. (i.e. using a proxy for theft, offering jobs to people to use their identity in return for a cut, inspire people to get creative with it; devising indepth plans on how to steal, rather than simply giving everybody free coupons)

You can currently steal funds with no investment into the faction at all.

This suggestion is purely made to have better supervision as management of the faction, to see whether apprentices and low-ranking workers are correctly assigning coupons in the fashion that our ruleset dictates. It's impossible to track through IC channels, no matter what authority you have as the backend systems doesn't support it, something which you'd think we have (and I genuinely did think IC and OOCly existed, until I became part of the managerial sect). I was told even staff don't have an associated log either.

It's a large design oversight and at worst opens up for an abuse of the system, apprentices can join the faction and instantly start giving themselves the largest monetary reward, every time, with no repercussions or way to verify otherwise.

Apprentice > Immediately start stealing > Nobody knows ever

You can bypass the rogue auth requirement since it's not measurable in any shape. Reward yourself and all your friends the maximum reward always, because nobody will ever know. Who needs rogue auths?

MOC can only check if the coupons are redeemed through a terminal, but not the amount or if they have been handed out. (which is done through a computer to begin with and it should by default have a log)

It's all computerized, all the computer systems on the server have logs to them, except this one little function.

A little unrealistic since I do think city administrators would like to know whether a proletariat is directly stealing funds from the economy, but nobody has the ability to see. It wouldn't be so easy to steal funds from a totalitarian regime, and it should definitively be quantifiable to some degree, those who are in a management position don't know if their employees are stealing right under their noses as the tools are not there.

In essence it's the same as supplying yourself with item spawners, except you get straight up money and it saves you the hassle of applying for auths to steal, plus you can't be caught carrying what you stole while trying to sell it since you already have the end means.

It's an unmeasurable metric that doesn't align with the current rogue guidelines, and an ooc limitation as to what we would ICly defiintely be able to check.

Basically, we can pretend this rule technically doesn't exist because there's no way of checking.

I think it should count as a transaction log instead of a datafile log.

Guh... I was disproven by facts and logic...

Anyhow, put it in transaction logs.

I feel MOC focuses on large-scale commerce, city and faction funds direct withdrawals
(i.e. they oversee managers who have potential to thief).

It makes little sense to bother them every time I need to do something within my own faction, pertaining to my own employees. Shift rewards are small transactions but important nonetheless. If everytime I had to find MOC, have them acquire auths to check transaction logs, etc, it really ends up being the same.

CWU managers need to be able to see ICly what coupons are being given out from shifts, that's all

why don't cwu managers have access to transaction logs

Simple addition.
Might consider how the transaction logs work OR make life easier by just adding it alongside any additional SC gained from workshifts since those two always come together.

Accepted.
