I'm told that my Grandfather on my dads side was a Ball-gunner for a B-17 on the western front, and that both my Great Grandfather on my moms and stepgrandads side were Airborne. Don't know much more then that, sadly.

Great-grandpappy was just your average Frenchman out of the Land of the Cross Tipped Churches. He came from a town called Russia, Ohio (Pronounced Russ-ee) the French way, as it was originally settled by Napoleonic Veterans of the Russian campaign. I got a few SFW pictures, one of them I can show here.

Funnily enough, my best friend IRL is Japanese, and his great-grandfather served in Burma too. Kinda funny how that all works.

Yo,

We used to have the Mosin & co on the server but we removed them for weapon balancing and modernisation purposes. Yes, we have a few second world war era equipment but it would just be one more weapon to add onto a list of many other weapons.

Modernizing the aesthetic of the game, yes whilst a lot of the technology stopped being developed post 2001/2004 (Sort of died down during those three years). That doesn't mean things COMPLETELY stopped developing, Combine did R&D of its own and what not
