Introductory:​

An investigation and recovery event involving one of the Combine Regime's many secretive research blacksites.

The circumstances of your arrival are unknown to you.
A small number of personnel exiting City Eight's urban center have been selected for a specialized "recovery" workcycle.
You are diverted to YAMATO's Pacific Access Dock for chartering of an exploration vessel. The trip is expected to take a month.

You are told that the full extent of your 'mission' will be revealed when you arrive.
The benefits slated to be given to you after this outing are enough to make you question how dangerous this is.

Not that you have the choice to decline.

Iymn faced off off-world relocation. However, having worked a clean record prior he was re-assigned as security staff at one of the UU’s most secretive black-sites.
