I was told to post this here, not sure.

I smoked cannabis for the first time on my character Melanie May, bought at a Victory store. After walking around in slums and the visual effects passed I went back to Victory street with a static char action text "Smells of Cannabis" because I thought my character was no longer high since there was no indication but I wanted to RP a lingering smell. I entered a building and a CP questioned why I was high and as seen in the attached logs I was confused and told him my character was not high. At that point a camera appeared at the window, staring at me from afar and I was behaving normally. After asking a co-worker OOC to confirm I was no longer high (seen in screenshot), I then left and went to go to my shop at Triumph, and on my way there an officer and the camera stopped me and questioned me again, I told them again OOC that my character should not be high anymore, but I was charged for intoxication and also paid a fine.

My concern is that this is just ridiculous, I had no idea my character would still be seen as high because its my first time smoking cannabis and there's no way to tell. Also officers and cameras would not be able to smell it because of their mask, and nobody reported me as I was acting normal. I think the camera saw the char action text above my character and reported me for intoxication!

I want my charge and the fine removed please.

Somebody did report you and you were still high when you entered Triumph to go through CP-1, which my own character witnessed so he was aware it was factual, thus the order for the citation was given. There's no metagame here.

Hi, I've taken a look at your provided logs and did some digging of my own after speaking to the Civil Protection members involved in your character's prosecution. The 'this figure is clearly high' description that appears under character names is usable by Civil Protection regardless of how subtle you want to play off the inebriation (which you made no attempts to apart from your interaction with the Captain in the first screenshot, who wasn't involved). It was still active when you went through a checkpoint and suspicions were confirmed after your character was reported to a Rank Leader, who had a Scanner track you down and sent another metrocop to intercede for him.

Also, the charge was dumbed down to exclude a beating and a much larger fine/social credit deduction that would've been more appropriate given the crime, which ultimately WAS perpetrated by you.

No Civil Protection faction rules were violated so no OOC intervention will happen.

Well my whole post was about not actually knowing my character was still high. How is it fair to be charged for it If I didn't know OOC? As I said there is no text or indication. Thats why i didnt attempt to Rp it.

Did you actually read my post, I said I thought the high had worn off. I had no clue people were seeing me as high. Just because it automatically said my character is high it's like, im stumbling around and shit? No. How would you even know? Its worn off marijuana not meth
