Steam Name: Meme_Lord_Satan

Name of the Admin you were banned by:
@Purple Knight
How long is the ban for?:
3 Days
The reason you were banned?: Charswapping in the middle of a sweep.
Why do you wish to be unbanned?:
There is a few moving parts here as to why I believe my ban, albeit not 'unjust', over excessive. From my understanding the sweep was in the slums, and they never entered the sewers to what zxenergy said when I asked him. My character, was in the sewers. There is really only two reasons as to why I think this ban was excessive and potentially unneeded.

One - My character was in the sewers during the sweep, so it wouldn't of mattered if I was on my character or not, as they couldn't of even reached him unless there was a large sewer sweep [which I'd understand.]

Two - At any point, you could've just pm'd me and said 'can you go back on your character?'. I'd understand if I hopped off the server, but I was still on it, and I could've just been asked 'hey hop back on it'.

I don't blame purpleknight for the decision he made, it is literally his role as admin, but I believe there could've been a far easier step then just going straight for a ban. The only thing I'm really asking is my ban to be removed, I really don't think this was needed considering how if my character was in the sewers during a slum sweep [which never entered the sewers to my knowledge] it wouldn't of mattered if I was or wasn't on my character.
Do you have any picture or video evidence to support your reason?:
Not really.

Were there any witnesses who can help in this appeal?: (List the steam and/or character names of them or tag them)

No.

Just FYI, your ban was upgraded to Permanent due to your excessive ban and warning record.

The moderation team will look into the most recent ban, IE this one

This matter was discussed amongst many staff members, as well as server council members.

Sweeps happen constantly, you could have come across a completely seperate one, and been caught, they could've wanted to sweep for you further, due to an IC connection, this is not something you are aware of.

Two - At any point, you could've just pm'd me and said 'can you go back on your character?'. I'd understand if I hopped off the server, but I was still on it, and I could've just been asked 'hey hop back on it'.
How we deal with a rulebreak is discretionary, and down to however the staff member sees fit. In this instance, they saw this as a clear negligence for the rules, and due to your history on the server, you should already know this rule is in place, hence the ban. Shifting the blame does not grant freedom.

This appeal is denied, and the permaban remains, due to the excessive amount of bans on record. You have been given an uncanny amount of chances to read and understand the rules.
