Monika Nemethova

For those who don't know, Monika Nemethova is an EVENT CHARACTER who has persisted on Willard for some time, from Industrial-24, to City 24, to now Dark Interval. Though a lot of this report is surrounding the use of this character, it also goes into detail as to how Rabbit how he has kept the character alive, and switching them back and forth from an event character at will. Some of this report also goes into detail as to his role as a faction lead for the MOP, but also various instances with his OOC behaviour to IC action.

For some perspective, I was previously an Event team lead but decided to step away because my personal involvement was dipping. Regardless, the character Monika, leading up to Terminal 7 (few months back now), was just an average event character, who for the most part had vanished and stopped appearing with the dissolvement of the CPRD. Until one fateful day I get told Rabbit has, without consultation or approval from the ET leads at the time, had turned this ultra-omega, event CCA character into a tier one, MAIN SERVER CITIZEN CHARACTER. Anyone without a brain can see that this obviously wouldn't work, but regardless turning a very high up Combine scientist into a citizen overnight doesn't exactly work nor compute, but this is beside the point, these were the kinda of things ET could hash out with the ET leads, and to prevent any form of bias among the mod/ET team. After speaking with Rabbit it turned out it was approved by Robert. Here are the short logs of me confronting Rabbit:

1753135173501.png

As you can see in the above screenshot I was rather irritated but I do not believe this to be a good enough excuse for someone of his position to just, do what ever he wants. Comments like "Because I can?" Are not the most well received comments, especially when the person saying it is in a position of power. It also goes against anything related to ET, as when making an event character, you make sure they are staying as an event character and nothing more, if you wish to potentially push them to a main server character, you can do that, but consultation with ET leads is pretty much mandatory.

At this point in time I was acting co-lead for OTA, and after speaking with the current HOS, Neonity, as well as fellow Ordinal (Command unit for OTA) Ultima, I authorised the BOL and effective amputation of the character. Obviously Rabbit, until only yesterday, never hopped on the character again, but I think anyone with at least two brain cells in Rabbits position could tell I did not want them playing the character....

I had no idea on where I should put this but a situation I completely forgot about was when Rabbit, and this no joke here, THREATENED the administration/loyalist part WITH Monika, all while PLAYING Maesroe. For reference he's threatening someone on one of his characters with the presence of another one of his characters, one that holds almost unlimited authority, something that furthers my point about his incompetence.

The Monika Hallucination
This was only a few weeks/days after the initial incident surrounding the character, so you can expect my genuine OOC surprise when I hear that Rabbit has gone ahead and, for some reason, played the character as a hallucination... And I'm not talking about the corpse model running at you at the dead hours of night type of hallucination, I'm talking about the, hop out of noclip in front of 3-5 players, with a "Only X person can see me" static char action above their head, and then proceeds to attack and mangle other characters. Now I don't need to be a blind man to see that there's major issues with this incident, to it being very immersion breaking, to just down right mingey...
[2024-12-12 21:37:29] [ME] Monika Némethová: reaches into their pocket, pulling a small scalpel from within. She seemed to move forwards and place it at the mans throat, ready to slice it open.

[2024-12-12 21:54:09] [IT] Monika Némethová: The entity only seen by ***, gripped the womans neck and slammed their head against the window. To all others in the hall, the womans head seemed to only fly backwards, hitting the glass with a loud thump. Along with this, the woman seemed to be turning a light shade of red in their face, and strugling to breath.

[2024-12-12 22:01:36] [ME] Monika Némethová: forced the womans head back again, via the use of their neck. Yards has their hand against the glass, between it and the back of the womans head to soften the blow. After this last act, she lets go, taking a step away from Roberts to the wal behind her. She lifted her right hand, with hwer index finger raised. She moved it from left to right whilst reciting something....
Here are just THREE snipets of /me's, and an /it of the RP and event, word for word.
Of course this was reported to me at the time by various members of ET, the players, and some moderators. Me and the other ET leads at this point decided to cut Rabbit from the event team.

Though from an outside POV it does come across that I and the other ET leads were aggressive in our removal, this didn't exactly stand for long as I was convinced by another ET lead to give him a chance and see if his work would improve.

From this point on there were several more incidents in which Rabbit tried to weasel the character back to the main server, to various documents being left in the I24 ruin, to various other outlets, and as you can expect, didn't speak to anyone about.

There are various logs in the CMU discord about me telling Rabbit why I dislike the character. For the most part I hope this part of the report goes into enough detail as to why I believe:
A. Rabbit is a terrible roleplayer and event team member.
B. Monika is a terrible character.
C. And Rabbit is a very incompetent GM.

I could go on with various other incidents surrounding the character, but I wont because I've said enough. Instead I'll finish it by saying he's brought the character back during the Dark Interval event! And that BOL Ultima legitimately placed on his character? Gone, poof!

"Time is a flat circle..."

Inability to take thing in-character

This part goes into his past convictions and their inability to take in-character actions in-character. Most of these situations lead to Rabbit demanding something go his way, and previously when he was server council, outright overrule people in some cases. The most recent incident I can personally think of was when I gave an MCP agent approval to start the MOP/Administration rework. For some clarification, the Ministries were being dissolved and adjusted in some way.

The MOC into a SeCon position
The MOE into a street level department.
The MOP also into a street level department.

Regardless the approval was very simple as I basically only gave a thumbs up to start the process sooner rather than later. Mind you the MOE took a few days to change, and the MOC took only a few hours, if not straight away. The MOP on the other hand was requesting for a broad THREE-WEEKS to change their faction from a ministry to a department. I believe the situation that occurred in the faction lead channel was showing of his inability to take things IC, and was a stark example of his incompetence as faction lead but also moderator.

This goes on for a while so I skipped a good few screenshots.

1753142585951.png
1753142601044.png
As you can see these screenshots are prime proof Rabbit is unable to take anything IC and resorts to an OOC screaming contest to see his needs be tended to. Even Robert, a server council member, struggled to see the issue with the change I was pushing, and though valid retorts are brought forward, especially in regards to how this would negatively impact his ability to adjust his faction, he decides to back off and resort to pointless complaining once again.

This is not the first instance this has happened either. Back in Terminal 7 the Terminal was currently losing a lot of funding due to excess spending. Myself, Agatha Wolstenholme, decided to speak with the various faction representatives to potentially cut costs. I spoke to the CWU and they agreed to cut costs where they could, cutting down CWU wages for the duration of a month. The CMU I was unable to contact due to their lead not being on that day, and last but not least, the MOP, to which the lead at the time, Layla Adkins, agreed to TEMPORARILY SUSPEND their departments entire wage so that they could save the Terminal's funding.

Obviously once again this resulted in an OOC argument with Rabbit as he felt there was no longer any reason to join the MOP, and even ran up the chain all the way to Atle, to which I even told him I was unable to do anything on my end.

The Ministry of sometimesbutnotallthetime Progress

The MOP is also a major issue I have personal gripes with, as it's not only wasted on Rabbits lacking foresight and creativity, but has been purposely hindered by his extreme incompetence.

During our return to City 24, a lot of criticism the MOP faced was that the MOP was not evil enough, and was wasted on the Ministers soft heart. With that being said Rabbit decided it to be a good idea to make a new Minister character, this time with them being much more 'evil'(?). Fast forward a few days/weeks and Orwell is ordering the construction of an Academy of sorts, a simple request given by the Administrator himself. Rabbits response on the other hand was nothing but baffling and obviously led to him getting into trouble in-character.
1753145340115.png

Some of you might not know this but I've actually tried to help the Ministry of Progress in the past, the most recent case was when we returned to City 24 and they wanted to push some sort of soda? Regardless Cengiz came to me and requested I make a skin for the soda can, and you know what, I believe it came out pretty well all things considered.
View attachment nfiZ1J2.mp4

It's not the greatest soda design known to man but I worked with what I had, and it worked, and I saw ZERO application for this in-character. I didn't see vending machines filled with the drink, I didn't see the MOP running mandatory work shifts where people would test the prototypes for this experimental drink, it all resulted in absolutely nothing, hence my frustration with the faction leadership, mainly Rabbit.

I believe the faction is being hindered by Rabbits OOC incompetence when handling the factions IC reputation, see the above image with the relay as my main evidence. I'm not asking that he be a complete god send but it's obvious he has zero idea how to play an 'evil' character, and would resort to playing Maesroe, a character is so good, you'd be surprised thinking she works for a genocidal regime. The problem comes when he has zero idea how to play an evil character, and this evil research faction are now locked off from any research considered remotely evil.

The BRI prided itself on being evil, but that it would flaunt that it. It gave enough that you wouldn't trust them, but just enough to the point you might want to work with them, after all you're only 10 credits short for that new fedora.

The MOPs reputation is currently in the gutter IC and OOC, and I feel like everyone is beating around the bush when it comes to pointing out the one causing the factions constant bleed of interest. For a faction that has a lot of potential to bring in players and get involved with the player base, @Rabithunter sure does a good job of keeping the people at bay.
There were talks of removing Rabit quite some time ago, just before the reopening for City 24, actually he was actually on the chopping block during Terminal 7, and you know what, community management pulled a "We'll give him one more chance.", you know, I'm sure Rabit is going to figure it out after what, his third, fourth try at the MOP now?

This post was something I've been personally holding off for some time but as time has gone on, and I've grown more frustrated with Rabbits antics, I've been left with no other option. The straw that broke the camels back was the fact Rabbit, someone who for the better of a year, had stayed under his rock, just for him now to come crawling out as I resign as ET lead, and bring back Monika in an event where he frames her BOL as nothing but a 'mistake', something that is a MAJOR spit in the face.

I'm personally advocating for Rabbits removal as MOP lead and moderator. He's stayed within these positions through his personal relationships to the members of community management.

There are a plethora of other reasons I'm sure I can bring to light, but I wont for the sake of my time, as well as the readers, but if you personally have had any grievances with Rabbit, mainly things pertaining to his position as MOP lead and being a mod, I suggest you comment below.

As agreed in our DMs, we'll leave a pin in this until the mega-event ends as we're all hands on deck making sure it runs well.

Cordial discussion is still encouraged. If you two can come to some mutual agreement or understanding then we'll leave it at that. Otherwise, will be reviewed in around 2 weeks.

Appreciate your patience!

Considering my name pops up in here more than a few times. I have my grievances with Rabithunter since some of their behavior is, frankly, disgusting and insulting to a degree.

I didn't interact with them much until Industrial 24, and I didn't have anything negative to say to them in that light. The first issue I perceived was when we were on the City 8 (city24_reskin) map.

I was investigating something as MCP as I was reporting on the CPRD drugging loyalists. I decided to snoop around in the labs undercover and spoke to one of the researchers, and in the morning, I was promptly DM'ed by them asking why I was snooping in the labs for something that was a PURELY IC issue. I didn't want to cause a rift between us and the factions, so we had an amicable discussion; however, it left a distaste in my mouth, as I was basically, in a way, "forced" to explain my actions IC for whatever reason....
1753149078543.png

In more recent times, I've heard from multiple individuals about their behavior regarding various issues. One of the two major issues that I've had is that they basically decided to disrespect the entire administration, and the MCP was tasked by the Overseer and the CCA ICLY to deal with it.

Obviously this came to my desk, so I, along with Willum, went to have a talk with the Rabithunters character, for which there was a disagreement ICly, and it ended up with me remarking to just apologize and move on with it.

Afterwards, when we left the office, I basically said to myself, "Watch them complain or bring it up somewhere" to which they promptly pmed me with the picture below, which left a sour taste for something that was basically an IC ISSUE

1753148676916.png

The penultimate incident was a few weeks ago when all the ministries were dismantled. I'm not going to delve into the optics about it since @The Master explains it fairly well. In essence, before I conducted any IC ACTION. I clarified with Reece OOCLY since I had a feeling this would be blown out of proportion, which it was.

As seen in the pictures Reece provided, Rabithunter immediately complained in the Faction-Leads chat for something that was seemingly a nothingburger. Afterwards, we had a back and forth on the issue where they refused to keep IC, IC. Then, to add insult to injury, they accused me of metagaming without any proof that they could provide; instead, they threw the accusation around since they were angrier than anything else.

Even individuals like Reece, Robert, Radx, et cetera, were baffled at Rabits' behavior. Eventually the situation died down when Reece came to debunk these complaints.

Afterwards I decided to leave it alone since I would rather keep my sanity; however, I was still insulted by their false accusation.

I asked them to provide an apology; however, they never did, whether it was deliberate or not. I am still waiting...

I have some opinions about rabit as a FL. Now while when I was in the faction and now observing it he seems able to keep at it not getting removed, but that is it. Marco tried to get good rules and change into the MOP and once rabit and cengiz got into it then it got really stale real fast. Not only was there a bunch of reworks and now some outdated stuff, but no hard enforcement on activity, no enforcement on making a project good, and the removal of the roster. My issues with managment of the faction have been that most projects are either bad or have gone nowhere. And when issues did occur nothing was done about getting people to do stuff, only a message sometimes to do something but then after that most of the other projects were fine and just sat inactive for times of weeks to months. And for the projects that were being pushed through, they were god awful. Like making pepper spray (some slightly different version with a drawing for some reason needed even though pepper spray and pepper spray devices have existed well before the 90's/2000's. And then another was making a taser, and another was ballistic shields. And with cengiz I feel like a lot of the time during terminal seven and the first half of c24 that there were communication issues and misunderstandings. And my distain for the lack of the roster is that we don't know who is in the faction officially thus there could be 5 or 10 people just sitting there doing no projects for weeks or months, like really, let there be accountability. Honestly I feel like Marco's ideas should have been followed to a tee and that there needs to be a different faction lead for the MOP. Now if all of this is not entirely relevant to the complaint then that is fine but I feel like it pertains somewhat to the fact that rabit is not the best at follow-through and managment.

Last post here to sum my points up (actual last post unless someone asks me something or starts a debate). Rabit was okay as a minister back when the MOP was instead part of the CMRU, MOP as overseeing ministry, and CMRU as the union part. But when managing the entire faction rabit falls short of enforcement and follow through. Some things include the rapid hiring of people but then not requiring any projects get made, and then for the projects that do get made there is no enforcement on them being active. I feel like at first rabit was okay, making sure people were doing stuff and addressing issues, event making an expo. But then when it came time to do things with that expo or address people that were not doing stuff later down the line, nothing happened. Rabit from my limited perspective is okay at certain things, but stuff like FL is not one of them.

I'll jump in on this for some reinforcement on some of these points, and a bit of context from my point of view.

Monika Nemathova is a single-dimensional Dr. Evil type of character. I hate to even say character here, as she's really just an IC vessel to try and creep people out on an OOC level. Not in an interesting narrative way, but rather a one-sided affair of 'haunting, 'experimenting', and otherwise tormenting random citizens just for the sake of it. There's really no rhyme nor reason to any of it. This roleplay left a pretty big stain onto the factions she's been a member of, and ultimately a major contributing factor for them getting dissolved. All of this due to the fact that some deranged psycho was running around cutting people open just... to do it I guess, despite us never authorizing player serial killers or the like.

All of this being allowed because Rabit got wide ranging approval from Rad and/or Robert who are just totally asleep at the wheel when they broadly authorize characters like this to exist. I've brought this criticism up many many times over the years. This roleplay isn't interesting nor is it really beneficial to anyone. Yet, no one can contest it due to a single DM from Rad or Robert just saying "OKAY".

That doesn't mean that research and/or medical RP like this can't be interesting, but for it to be interesting it needs to be fundamentally different. It cannot be about the researcher. It must be about the characters involved; their decisions and their consequences. I have never yet seen Nemathova, nor really 99% of MoP projects, actually involve people making decisions. It's always either just an excuse to do some roleplay only two people will ever see behind closed doors, or it will 'involve' citizens walking along a linear path of decisions already made for them on some forum post buried deep within the annals of the MoP subforum. Neither of those things are ever interesting for anyone but the player of the character doing the research. The purpose of Event characters is for them to push forward a narrative several characters can enjoy.

If you're seeking soley the storytelling of your own character and only her, then don't play her as an event character. When a character becomes an Event character, they become an NPC. Their story becomes irrelevant. They exist to serve the playerbase at that point. Anyone playing them to further their own OOC ambitions for character development on said character should just not play an Event character.

No one would complain if Nemathova was, and always had been, a Citizen. The second they become an event character there is no coming down from it. It's a ridiculous prospect for the combine to allow someone with that much power and damaging information to be able to just become some rando T0 bluesuit. We don't allow civil protection to do it in part because they know the inside of the Nexus, the radio codes, the command structure, datafile entries, and so on. But... Monika is special? Why?

Lets not forget the 'expo lives' incident..
I’m implore you to elaborate as I personally don’t remember the situation too well, so what I’m going to say may be wrong but:

During an expedition, hosted by pathfinder, rabbits rebel event character, didn’t you shoot her dead in an attempt to assassinate them, just for rabbit to introduce an arbitrary three life system to prevent his character from dying?

I'm going to weigh in here since I've been in the mop long enough to see what's actually going on behind the closed doors and ironically made an unanswered complaint about this very thing. While I can't speak on what happened with this apparent event character issue, I can absolutely point out the administrative bias and hypocrisy when it comes to the MOP.

Under Reece, there was this double speak of expectations that: "Yeah, you can do whatever you guys want and I won't intervene as long as it fits with lore... and my personal view that the MOP has to be an evil faction doing bad things constantly."

The MOP, unlike the CWU, CWU, MOC, MOCP, and generally everyone else has to go through the most ooc red tape before we can bring anything to the server. We have to ask and beg and selectively navigate a system that just tells us "No." There is no feed back. Nothing to allow us to start a conversation on what we could compromise and achieve. If it didn't fit the biased torture based model then apparently it isn't okay. So I guess just screw player agency if we don't want to be Unit 731 all the time.

The current MOP loop is as follows:

1. SRI gets and idea that they want to do that goes beyond just some in-house study.
2. Push it past relevant OOC authorities (balance team, other faction leads, etc). Get likely rejected with little feed-back and certainly no assistance on how to make the project acceptable. ***See step 9.***
3. Generate a project proposal that gets approved via IC channels. Get randomly shut down by Event Team despite previous conversation because they now don't like the lore implications or they think it might upset an event... Despite the mop being routinely bypassed or forgotten in events anyway. ***See step 9.***
4. Get IC pushback despite approvals both ICly and OOCly from organizations like CPs, CWU, and CMU. If stopped, ***See step 9.***
5. Attempt to work with Admins who are overseeing the work but eventually they leave for other projects or stop responding. ***See step 9.***
6. Attempt to work with Devs who deprioritize SRI work. ***See step 9.***
7. Attempt to get IC traction for the work and foster better RP between factions. Get ignored because history of step X. ***See step 9.***
8. Watch as CMU and CWU are given tasks that should be for SRI. Watch people get upset anyway because they see it as the SRI not wanting to do it. See ***See step 9.***
9. Watch as players get tired of the run-around and lack of follow-through on projects. Watch other factions get upset with SRI / MOP for "Never doing anything". (I"ve been Icly told this, face to face, many-many times and it's gotten to the point its a determent to mine and other characters).

So of course the MOP looks useless to the outside person because we don't over-night solutions (which would be failrp for us but it's okay for anyone else), we don't get approved for a lot of what we want to do, and our OOCly generated reputation makes it hard for people to icly want to support us. Hell, we've had the CWU blow off meetings with the leadership of the MOP over a critical server event so they could do a business inspection because that's the reputation we have been forced into.

I've been screaming at the wall about this to the point I had to complain again but directly to the Faction Manager. So, while Rabbit and by extension everyone isn't perfect, don't pretend like you didn't have a direct hand in what's happening with the MOP/SRI.

You are completely right I have a hand in the MOPs terrible reputation, but a very SMALL hand mind you, Rabit has done most of the heavy lifting all by himself.

Me and @villeneuve took IC action to dissolve the department back in City 8, and instead of accepting our opposition as roleplay, he resorted to threatening the administration with the presence of another one of his characters, as well as CALLING US OUT in an ET meeting, saying we were preventing the main server arc from continuing because of our IC action.

The faction, while under rabits jurisdiction, has done nothing but serve his power fantasy, doing a good job of rubbing his own personal ego. The fact he’s unable to keep anything IC, the fact theres images of him complaining about the SERVER DIRECTOR ATLE getting CCA and not him, the fact the MOP is the only faction, that has needed constant guidance and OOC oversight, show that Rabit is not using the faction for either the right reasons, or how players want to roleplay with it.

You could say that it’s a rather ridiculous claim, but if EVERYONE on the server is saying you’re doing something wrong, it’s very disingenuous to turn around and say it’s everyone ELSE that is wrong, not you.

As I’ve said while I was ET lead, long as the MOP don’t that breaks major server lore continuity, I don’t care, and you know what, they did exactly what I was worried about. In terminal 7 they attempted to use the purple crystals to try and open gateways to random parts of the world. Me, TRL and Nath all agreed it’s a ridiculous concept as it breaks half life 2 canon. This isn’t even MENTIONING that me and @villeneuve had already mutually agreed that the crystals, MINE AND NORAS CONCEPT, would not be allowed to be used in that application for balance and lore reasons.

Or maybe the nuclear reactor that wanted a sentient AI to help operate it? these are the main TWO examples I’ve personally shut down because they are, and forgive my French here, RETARDED, they are RETARDED. Mind you, there are plenty of research projects that HAVE gone under my radar as like I said, I don’t care, and you know what, the reason nobody brings them up is because like @ford-michigan said, there’s not activity check or presence from the leads, which leads to dead projects.

People DO have an agenda against the MOP, and it’s true their reputation is ruined, but don’t point at others claiming it’s all because of everyone else. The faction, as it stands, is a glorified joke, which has been on the chopping block in terms of leadership for quite some time, just nobody has the guts to pull the trigger, as like I’ve shown above, Rabit is a well known crybaby when things don’t go his way. I won’t name names as I don’t want to drag them in, but various other people in the Willard sphere, players, ET, mods, CMs, even people outside of Willard, people even IN the MOP, and many many more, have all agreed the MOP is walking talking joke.

My disdain is not directed at you, as I’ve never even heard of you until now, but I want you to understand the factions reputation has long been tainted by various antics Rabit has committed.

Im going to take a while here to explain my side of the story regarding the MOP, Monika Nemethova and various other complaints in this thread.

MOP
Regarding the ministry of progress, Cengiz and I put a lot of work and effort into the faction at the beginning of this year, spending a ton of time orchestrating various research projects for people to get themselves involved in and bringing the player count up from a dismal level. We had around 12 to 15 people in the faction towards the end of the first half of C24 revival, which for us was miles better than we previously had. Players were enjoying the faction and the narrative of the server during Ultris , along with the CCA arc of Rajko Karavidic.

The main issues we faced for some of the projects were approval. Reece states above that we never really tried to do anything. Time and time again I asked for help from the ET leadership, mainly Reece because aside from there being two or three people in those positions, he took it upon himself to become a defacto leader between those people. My requests were to run projects revolving around crystals, which I took a long time to write lore for back in terminal seven, along with revitalizing a project that would see a type of teleportation, which would eventual fail. Communication was dull at best between Reece and myself, making it hard to push forwards with anything meaningful regarding the MOP. Over the years I have written several documents and events regarding research, with the CPRD and MOP as well, only having trouble getting approval for anything since Reece became and ET lead at the start of terminal seven.

The MOP soda was a good idea produced and pushed forwards by Cengiz who spoke to Reece about getting a can design on the server. One or two workshifts were conducted in the warehouse to produce those cans. They were never sold in vending machines because icly we were told not to do so for one reason or another, being told to export them for city profits instead of helping us to inflate our own budget.

1753173772823.png

The reason I never tried to ake MOP evil is because the CPRD had ben tried, tested, failed to death to become evil and liked by anyone outside of the faction. Complaints came in about the CPRD whilst myself and others played characters within it, so my idea was to create a much more relaxed faction, dedicated to doing things more meaningful than bringing people in to experiment on or worse. From many years experience I learned that players dont like being brought into a lab and told to sit and take X Y Z pills or injections, just to have side effects noted down and then move on.

When it came to changing the faction from MOP to the now SRI, I asked specifically for more time to make changes to the faction, as Medi and I wished to make several changes to the faction as a whole and make something new. Work is still on going behind the scenes, Medi working on a document to help us and the players perform lectures in character. My agreement for more time on this matter was discussed briefly with both Furious and Atle, who both agreed to allowing this to happen. The nail in the coffin however was Reece, who decided not to allow this only after becoming the CCA co lead within the previous week. The reason for an extended time is due to my real life work and shift patterns. I do three 12 hour day shifts one week, three 12 hour night shifts the next, followed by two days, then two nights on the final week, before rinsing and repeating.
1753174615131.png1753174649248.png
1753174866240.png

Lucky as it may seem when I was approved more time, Reece being a new CCA assistant and seemingly having a grudge against me as a mod and FL, took it upon himself to oocly orchestrate the factions speedy removal and reform, despite agreements with the actual leads themselves.

I dont know if Reece truly understands the scope of change being made to the MOP, which may lead to his lack of oversight and judgement in this case. He has himself led the OTA faction, however I never saw any great changes made under his leadership to any of the forum documents or policies, most having been handled prior to his arrival by Astro. Having been a faction lead for three years at this point I am well versed in how to manage documents and know full well the time it takes to write them, co-ordinate with others, come to agreements and make amendments based on those discussions, whilst getting feedback from the players in the faction as well. As with anything relating to a faction its important to keep the players who make it happen in the loop, which takes a long time when you consider the various time zones.

To state we only need a few minutes to change a few names is a massive insult and understatement from someone who may themselves not fully understand what is going on.

One of the biggest issues I have faced with the faction is a lack of help. Inherently research is something hard to run, which I knew when I took the position of FL. This being the case I worked hard oocly, spending a lot of time in peoples DM's to help facilitate various projects they wished to run, or some I wished to see being ran. TRL was on the lore team and helping me liaise between the ET leads (Reece) and myself, before he was removed from his position. Progress was made regarding the crystal and teleportation projects, coming to an agreement on how they would be ran, wihch soon fell apart after TRL was removed due to a lack of any communication between myself and ET leadership, which I have vocalized and mentioned to several people before.

As stated above my new character was spoken to by MCP, through what I felt was a lack of character interactions. MCP have had their own issues over the years and this has made me sceptical on their antics oocly, making me anxious and aware that anything they do may be done with some ooc malic or planning in discord channels I cannot see and without adequate RP on the server.

After I confronted Plumber about this initially I left it alone and continued with the character regardless, having voided my initial complaint in a PM on the server about it. When it came to the mop reform and my character suddenly being placed under the spotlight, I took this case back up again and decided to dig deeper into the supposid RP that was conducted on the server, regarding Minister Korvath, MCP, Enzo Valente, Chairman Wyatt and Orwell. I found no interactions between Plumbers character Raath and those mentioned, except for one MCP agent played by someone else, days before being told to meet them icly. This led me to believe that people were planning this out oocly, rather than doing any RP on the server. Im not pushing for anything with this as its come and gone, however my frustrations and claims to this can be seen through the logs in the images below, showcasing why I felt as bad about it as I did.

aye ofc

TRL — 23/03/2025 18:39
as it effects both the gameplay of multiple factions and would create a massive plothole for the very basic foundations of how hl2 and its episodes play out

Where would this portal lead

Konijnjager — 30/03/2025 19:18
Thats the tricky part.

TRL — 30/03/2025 19:18
Main concern lorewise is the OOC implication of letting players (and staff to an extent) is creating portals to xen in the first place

Konijnjager — 30/03/2025 19:19
Aye mine as well. I wanna have this controled as much as possible.

canonically it took a massive goverment facility filled with the smartest people on the planet to do that for like 3 months before everything went supercritical

Konijnjager — 30/03/2025 19:20
Aye ofc

TRL — 30/03/2025 19:22
Before you start planning anything in character, I'd reccomend planning out of character first with what exactly you want to do and how you generally are gonna go about doing it. My hard stance here is going to be no portals on demand- there will never be a MoP project aside from maybe an event that will allow them to go to xen and smoke weed with alien grunts
[19:22]
Same with anti-teleportation technology which we already discussed for diff reasons (gameplay and for lore reasons )

Konijnjager — 30/03/2025 19:23
yh and I think I listed this in my document.
[19:23]
Green crystals have now been researched and their properties discovered. The research teams must now try to merge the energetic properties of the blue crystals with the green ones, to manipulate and produce portals at will. A new device will need to be invented, code named ‘IPSKI’ (Ionic Portal Synthesis and Kinesthetic Induction). This device uses fine cut, dome shaped glass panes to direct energy at a single focal point. The blue crystals require charging, before they can be used as a battery source and discharged directly into the back of a green crystal, where the energy passing through them is converted into intense, fluctuating green portal dispersions. These dispersions must be focused using the glass cones, before the confined particle beam can then hit an object and open a portal to the xen world.

These portals, when opened with this new device, can only last for as long as the charge within the blue crystals can emit for. The maximum time for a portal opening is fifteen minutes, with a charge time to achieve this as 72 hours, being charged up at a rate of seven KwH (Some systems in the terminal will suffer to gain a full charge). The less energy the blue shard contains, the less time a portal can remain open.

The xen world can be explored, where unknown chemical and physical elements can be obtained and mined (This can be RP’d, not coded). Some of those materials are microzasium (A fine powder, sand consistency that glows red and has a temperature of three hundred degrees), Xenophoriam (A gas that comes from some plant life, toxic when inhaled and causes skin lesions, spontaneous bleeds, eye sight loss, heart failure and muscle degradation - Also cannot be stopped by filters) and finally Vintrasphoria (A metallic element in liquid state, brown in color and highly acidic. Has a temperature of 130 degrees and can be cooled using liquid nitrogen in large amounts.)

These chemical elements can be used for further projects with the crystals (Perhaps in another story line.)
[19:23]
Im inclined to make this an interesting event, rather than a thing that can be done on demand as you said.

TRL — 30/03/2025 19:24
That being said the note here states that so long as you have the material, you can reliably replicate the result

Konijnjager — 30/03/2025 19:24
We can adapt it.
[19:24]
w/e you're happy with I will be as well.

TRL — 30/03/2025 19:24
OOCly, you want the MoP to go to xen yeah

Konijnjager — 30/03/2025 19:25
Not on a whim. I want some sorta event that fails the device on the first go, sending the researchers back to the base to rethink thier ideas. (edited)
[19:26]
We have a limited supply of green crystals and blue ones, so once they're gone they're gone.
[19:27]
before the main event in the city the idea was to build a rocket and send it to space, to open a portal in the vacuum first and observe from the surface.
[19:28]
So its kinda supposed to happen in stages

Oh right. I thought you needed to speak with others before I could go ahead with it

TRL — 18/04/2025 18:36

Konijnjager — 18/04/2025 18:40
fml the drama is getting worse in this community.

TRL — 18/04/2025 18:44
Eh, me getting angry the way I did is always going to be my fault, im responsible for my own actions
[18:45]
That being said the fact he feels as if there's no reason for me to be mad at him is indicative of the underlying problem not being solved

Konijnjager — 18/04/2025 18:48
Aye I can understand that.
[18:48]
Got more shit happening too it seems. Things are just blowing out of proportion lately.

@The Master

Konijnjager — 10/11/2024 16:29
Yo

The Master — 10/11/2024 16:50
Basically what I said here.

Konijnjager — 10/11/2024 16:51
Aye the blackhole one I can change, nice and easy
[16:51]
Give it a different purpose
[16:51]
The green crystals would be interesting imo.
[16:51]
Gives a lot of people smth to look into

The Master — 10/11/2024 16:53
Yeah but portal travel is very overpowered. You give people access to that in lore, you open a can of worms.

Konijnjager — 10/11/2024 16:53
Those portals cannot last long and cannot be controlled in a sense that the destination can be picked.

It would be completely random as to where the end location would be
[16:55]
I have added in time specific challenges and limits to portal generation, as so people cannot make them when they see fit

Konijnjager — 10/11/2024 17:19
So for the dark matter crystal, I'll swap out the blackhole for the following:

When broken into shards, the shattering effect within the core will cause an atomic collapse, creating a swirl of radioactive vortex atoms. These will have a very short half life, meaning their reach to effect the players is within four meters from the swirls, and will last for four minutes before they themselves run out of radioactive material to exist.

@Konijnjager
Those portals cannot last long and cannot be controlled in a sense that the destination can be picked. It would be completely random as to where the end location would be

The Master — 10/11/2024 18:17
But to a degree they can be controlled and contained can they not? That's the main issue, as right now the green crystals are the rarest given that they.. Well literally teleport different things to the area around it

Konijnjager — 10/11/2024 18:23
The idea is to control them opening, forcing a portal to open. Outside of that initial portal creation, they cannot be tuned into diverting the end portal to a set location.

Its about opening a door to another relm, and thats it. Im not talking about the portal game portals here, far from it lol.

Once open, it can lead to anywhere that another green crystal exists on the map or in xen, and only be open for a limited time.

Konijnjager — 10/11/2024 19:23
Whats the prognosis then? I wanna get started on this asap.

It's still too much of a compromise in my eyes, just controlling them opening is still a big leap in teleportation tech, yes, the might not be able to be controlled but they're still a very strong thing to have within their control.

Im limiting its use to work only when events require them too.

I understand your trepidations and agree that this can be somewhat OP, though if we play this right, quite a few interesting events can come from it.

The idea of this is a story telling device, to showcase something new and interesting for players to get involved in.

The Master — 10/11/2024 20:40
Right but my issue stems from it poking holes in too many pre-existing lore pieces. When me, Nora, and I think Astro, were originally creating the crystals, one thing we didn't want being done was the MOP researching the green crystals and somehow, someway, managing to create portal tech that would rival the combine.

Konijnjager — 10/11/2024 20:43
Its not about rivalling the combine. Its not about trying to circumvent their tech.

This is about exploration into the unknown.

As it stands, according to the lore I wrote in my doc, you have to jump through several hoops and so forth, before you can even try opening a portal.

I did and still do have an approved weapon project, back from city 8, which uses the green crystals in the same manner, to open portals at will when fired, allowing xen creatures to enter the world and wreak havoc on those around them

The Master — 10/11/2024 20:50
My point isn't that it rivals the combine, my point is that a few measly scientists, in a downtrodden terminal, somehow, with the use of the green crystals, figure out the way for interdimensional travel, through portals conjured by their tech. This would be seen as completely ridiculous, especially from an OOC standpoint. The portals from the green crystals were never intended to be tamed, but instead a natural occurrence, like an earthquake or something else similar. The reason they were never intended to be tamed was... Well, because of exactly this, how strong it is from a lore standpoint.

Konijnjager — 10/11/2024 20:53
What do you propose then? My entire project stems on the portal creation. Remove that and I have nothing to work with and will need a complete re-write.

Furthermore, Vorts are already thinking of doing the same thing. To block this imo seems ridiculous and will heavily restrict what can be achieved.

So far the lore behind the crystals is very dry and cut far too simply to gain anything from them. Having a basic understanding to me seems silly, as no real research can be done to prove/disprove/generate any stories that could stem from those discoveries.

Konijnjager — 10/11/2024 21:41
Okay I have done some thinking on this and spoken to Rad, Astro and Brick as well. Let me explain the new plan

Well the crystals were never intended to become this major plot to any sort of storyline. We put a few contingency plans in place to prevent them from becoming so, as a few people, ourselves included, saw them as nothing more than spice to a meal, something GMs could pop down every now and again and generate some intrigue. As for Vorts, that's fine, as their vortal abilities would totally given them the opportunity to harness what the crystals produce. In essence, this is one of the few things freed vorts can do, due to their connections to the vortessence, while the Combine are just left scratching their head.
[21:45]
I had this typed prior to what you just said, was just finishing something.

Konijnjager — 10/11/2024 21:45
Aye np
[21:49]
The portals after discussing can open to a section of xen that has no bearing on the combines hold over the human race. Speaking to Astro, there could be many different layers of xen, some being occupied by race X, or the original combine, or both in an active war against the other.

The section or state of xen players would be sent to would be completely baron of life, except for local fauna such as plants. This location would be uninhabitable, meaning those entering the portal cannot survive within this location for very long.

It could be suggested that Xen is made of multiple layers, not just a single dimension, but many different dimensions with their own unique setting. With this in mind, sending researchers to one that doesn't really mean anything to the combine as a whole, could make more sense.

Another of Astro's suggestions was to showcase some lesser synths in the area, as scouts for the combine. Those would not necessarily be hostile upon contact, though could become so if provoked.

This could make something very interesting here and I wouldnt want to miss out on the chance. (edited)

Can I assume that everything else in my doc is fine?

Wanna move and start this sooner, rather than later

@Konijnjager
Can I assume that everything else in my doc is fine? Wanna move and start this sooner, rather than later

The Master — 11/11/2024 15:35
The portals are still the only thing hinging me up, like it just makes no sense from an IC standpoint, and I feel like, the second anyone, let alone the some small research division of an abandoned Terminal, the Combine would just come on in, sweep everyone up and ship some where else, like no way would they realistically allow anyone to touch this sort of tech.

Konijnjager — 11/11/2024 15:37
Im gonna wait for Badger and Dev to give their opinions on this as well.

Badger — 11/11/2024 15:41
The portals are still the only thing holding it back, imo it's hard to explain the MoP understaffed and underequipped being able to get into non-localized portal tech. HL2 has a whole plot line with mossman's infiltration, dedicated to the Combine wanting humanity's advanced portal tech because theirs is far inferior- It also focuses on using xen as something for humanity to explore which the combine would NOT allow in any sense or form in my opinion
[15:42]
A combine faction researching this and being able to open a portal to a random location on xen would basically get rid of the entire reason the Combine aren't able to take over the entire universe, from this point onward they'd be able to just trigger portals to random locations and start invading as they please
[15:43]
Keep in mind they only invaded earth because Gordon caused the resonance cascade, they have no idea how to open portals themselves, its the whole mossman plotline basically
[15:44]
But it's like you said. Everything else is completely fine

Konijnjager — 11/11/2024 15:45
As for the black crystals then, because their entire entry into the server was going to be based on a portal opening, how about I keep in the rocket and portal opening in space, just not on earth as for some reason (I can BS a reason) they wont open in earths atmosphere?
[15:47]
Dont leave me hanging for another 5 hours lads

The Master — 11/11/2024 15:48
Well what would that mean for the portals?

Konijnjager — 11/11/2024 15:48
Essentially means they can only open in a vacuum, using the method of blue crystal powering a green one.
[15:49]
Cant make a large enough space on earth to create a vacuum chamber

The Master — 11/11/2024 15:50
I mean would they still be able to be controlled? Or would they just exist like the green crystals portals do now, uncontrollable?

Badger — 11/11/2024 15:51
Yeah the main thing is the control part

Konijnjager — 11/11/2024 15:52
None of the portals would be controlled.

The device I noted in my doc, only allows a portal to open. It cannot be controlled in a sense that you can determine the end destination.

The portal opening in space would just be for event purposes (edited)

Badger — 11/11/2024 15:54
Honestly that'd be fine with me, the only thing I feared is that if the combine found a way to portal to other worlds with even 50% efficacy, they'd pump every single resource into these green crystals and start invading the entire universe
[15:55]
Also Dev is probably not gonna talk on this lol
[15:55]
He a busy person

@Konijnjager

The Master — 11/11/2024 15:56
I know but domesticating them and putting the portals somewhere to be opened, controlling when they're opened, is to a degree, controlling them.

@The Master
I know but domesticating them and putting the portals somewhere to be opened, controlling when they're opened, is to a degree, controlling them.

Konijnjager — 11/11/2024 15:56
Its not complete control. Its opening a door, thats it.

Settings cannot be adjusted to say where it will end up

The Master — 11/11/2024 15:58
But just having that bit of control is too much.

Badger — 11/11/2024 15:58
It's not that much, basically every month the combine gets to open a portal to a literal random location as a part of some insane prospecting schemes, at the cost of a shit ton of power and resources

Konijnjager — 11/11/2024 15:58
Do you know about Project EXTEL?
[15:58]
Portal stuff has already been done, EXTEL being exactly that
[15:59]
My own project is not far different

@Konijnjager
Do you know about Project EXTEL?

The Master — 11/11/2024 15:59
I've never heard of it

Badger — 11/11/2024 15:59
Me neither

Konijnjager — 11/11/2024 15:59
[16:00]
Slightly different, though on the same lines

Badger — 11/11/2024 16:00
Oh the chumtoad thing

Konijnjager — 11/11/2024 16:00
Aye

The Master — 11/11/2024 16:01
I mean that's not been updated since March, its been through multiple layers of management. If I were OTA co-lead back when this was proposed, I'd probably of denied it for conspiracy alone, or had so much restrictions in place, it would of been near impossible.

Konijnjager — 11/11/2024 16:01
Another is the portal creation device

@The Master

Konijnjager — 11/11/2024 16:02
Trouble is exactly what you said here. Having too many restrictions will suffocate projects

1

The Master — 11/11/2024 16:03
Well projects are still subject to the Combine. If MOP or whoever wanted to create some omega city destroying superweapon, no way in hell would the Combine just offer a thumbs up and just let them have a field day.

Konijnjager — 11/11/2024 16:03
I dont think you understand entirely what each project does and the items stemming from them are.
[16:04]
Many things have been done in the past that rival what im doing here, such as AI sentience

Badger — 11/11/2024 16:05
I dont think combine would care about their researchers getting into this if it benefits them, plus it'd be fun rp and could involve several factions
[16:05]
They'd just let them research and shoot them all once they had the necessary results

The Master — 11/11/2024 16:05
I mean wouldn't that just be as bad?

Badger — 11/11/2024 16:06
Not really, at least then they have some agency to their fates

Konijnjager — 11/11/2024 16:06
I dont wanna get people killed for this project
[16:06]
Thats not the idea at all

Badger — 11/11/2024 16:06
I dont mean killed it was an expression
[16:07]
I don't think we should block projects based on "the combine wouldn't allow this" because a ton of shit happens that imo the Combine would never allow, i dont really have much of a problem with this as long as the portals can never have a set destination
[16:07]
They're already kind of triggerable. They always start up when touched/approached

1
[16:08]
So a device to control it wouldn't be that far fetched in my eyes
[16:08]
I'd just add a lot of chances for this to go wrong in my opinion, people getting teleported away, that sort of thing, cause this is some dangerous ass research
[16:09]
Idk it's a chance to revive an almost dead faction and we can always just say "Stop" ICly later down the line if their research starts becoming too much for the combine's liking
[16:11]
Cause MOP at this point is basically the weather man

Konijnjager — 11/11/2024 16:12
Main thing for me is expanding on the crystals. So far they do very basic things, and to make them more elaborate and interesting, they need spicing up

The Master — 11/11/2024 16:13
Well I still think it's ridiculous, and from what I'm hearing from Vasili about there only being 3 active MOP members, I don't know. I just don't want it to become some gatekept arc where nobody can really get involved because, "It's confidential."

Konijnjager — 11/11/2024 16:14
Im not making this confidential. I want the entire faction on it
[16:14]
I want CWU, CMU, other factions involved
[16:14]
This is my attempt to open the door for a large scale event

Ultris
This was an amazing arc from its inception and designed purely by M!NT. It involved the entire server and allowed rebels and loyalists to come together for a common goal, to destroy the project created by ex CPRD scientists hell bent on human control.

During the arc I did everything I could to involve the MOP, getting players in the faction to go on an expo (only one was ran by M!NT) to help uncover some of its secrets. I forced my character to become infected because I was curious about where this arc may lead, along with my desire to experience the effects first hand from an ooc and ic perspective. This ran very well for about a month, perhaps a little longer, creating a lot of interest among the MOP, resistance and other factions, helping to keep the MOP specifically active.

Despite this arc being something very interesting, new and fresh for the server, it was riddled with complaints from the CP side, CWU side and perhaps other people. It involved the citizens as well, some of them becoming infected and coming to the MOP for tests, not only to infect them with it, but to also try and find a cure.

Through those complaints it was shutdown early, by whom I dont entirely know. This had a detrimental effect on the MOP faction, causing people to become bored and tired of arcs being ran and then quickly shelved or outright stopped in their tracks, making it harder to keep the interest. Complaints have been mentioned that we do nothing, yet when something does come along and we get involved, it is quickly and promptly shutdown due to an overt number of complaints from outsiders and the like.

I still dont fully understand why this was shutdown on the English server, as it continued running on the French one. Its been said we do nothing of use in the MOP and we should do more, yet when soething comes along where we can do exactly that:

IT GETS SHUTDOWN

Time and time again its been said that we need to be more evil, experiment on people, drug people, do nasty things to people. This old trope of boring and endless circle jerking in a room with three scientists and one player is not enjoyable and only exaserbates the issue of no wider faction involvement. If you wanted the MOP/SRI to do things with the wider server, what was the point in shutting down the only good narative being run at the time?

Nemethova
Its no secret that this character has had a lot of controvesy over the last two years. My initial aim was to create someone inherently evil who had no care for others around them, taking no pleasure or delight in their antics however.

Their initial inception came way back in the i17 event, when I got the chance to lead the CMU throughout the event. they were a normal individual, happy and full of emotions. The change to how she is now came about when an event was suggested for C24 V3 in 2023, between myself and other server council members at the time. We discussed an idea to have the IMS working on a secret project that uploaded peoples minds into a singular computer, a virtual world akin to something like the matrix, though less like that of course. I pulled people in from the streets, random citizens wih the use of CP's at the time, making them sit in a chair and running experiments on them. This ran okay to begin with, though became very dull not long after, with perhaps a few complaints coming in about this event.

I attempted to continue this after we finished the metro arc, returning with the character during the C8 map which represented one of the districts of C24. I dont recall a great deal from this time but again I dont believe it ran too well either, not garnering much reception from players. This was all being done whilst I also led the newly merged medical and research faction, CMRU, placing strain on myself whilst I juggled a faction and event caracter at the same time, in almost the same field of play.
During I24 I brought the character in again with a new objective and arc to run, which again involved testing characters. This time the goal was to ensure compliance, injecting them with drugs, subjecting them to horrific motion pictures and sounds, tobrain wash them into serving the combine without resistance. During this time I was leading the MOP as well, which again placed more strain on myself than I anticipated, taking on more than I should have done when I look back at it now. We eventually moved on from i24 and went to C8, where the CPRD had become defunct aside from one event character played by George.

For the current event I wanted to play and write the character off in my own way. Reece had used his ET leadership position to cull the character oocly, teling me she is dead and I have no say otherwise
. Despite this I spoke to others and we agreed that kiling off a character oocly cannot be done and that I can use the character for this event.
I was given permission to RP the character in T7 by Robert and Rad, after asking them if I can play them as a normal citizen. They were the ones to initially allow the character when I first brought them into the IMS and assumed they were the ones I should go to when asking for permission. Reece was upset by this and told me not to play the character, which I followed through with. At the time I believed everything such as that to be voided, with no further issues stemming from it, however a note was placed on the characters files for ooc reasons, despite the situation having been resolved and as I assumed, voided.

A month or two ago Stanford wanted to run an event in i24, taking a group of people back to this location to search through various buildings and structures. He asked me about the labs this character was using and asked me if I can place down some notes, towhich I agreed initially. This was soon revoked by Reece due to his perhaps OOC hate of the character and myself, resulting in nothing being produced for Stanford event.
1753183746157.png

CJ and I were in discussions regading their character in terminal seven. At the time his character Stephanie Roberts had a tremendous fear of Nemethova, stemming from an event Reece had ran months or a year prior where people had halucinations. In this event I played a halucination of Nemethova, making Roberts fear them and creating this new arc with CJ. Upon request I continued doing it with them in terminal seven, having done this once before already and thinking it wouldnt be an issue. this was soon found to be a mistake on my part, when told to discontinue the event I was running with CJ.

Lack of GM help
Back in terminal seven the MOP were allowed to have a local branch. Reece initially didnt want the faction in this event but after having some discussions we agreed it could remain. The narative at this time was a weather front, cold and harsh to the characters in the area, with a goal to rebuild the terminal under the orders of city 8. Despite this narative being hyped up at the time, myself being excited for it and looking forward to what it had to bring, I was inherently let down by its lack of oversight from Reece, who orchestrated, oversaw the plugin development and was supposed to run it overall.

This lead to the MOP faction having further issues, as one of their main goals was to track and report the weather conditions to the authorities, using a series of tracking equipment, GM'd by deverinity. Sources of food were also a requirement in the terminal and the MOP was again tasked with trying to produce them. This all came to a halt afterthe farming plugin was found to have an abundance of bugs and issues, stopping this in its tracks.

MOP were asked to look into researching other materials for better clothing insulation and heating solutions. I dont recall a lot about this but I do know this didnt see much in regards to GM support during the event.

It became clear that the narrative couldnt be sustained on cold weather conditions alone and this brought the purpose of the MOP down to almost nothing. I done my best to write and produce a new narative in the form of crystals, assigning each one their own properties and special traits, whilst also GMing some events as to include the wider server player base. Although Reece wrote out his own document on the subject, it was lacking in lore behind them

The main reason for writing this lore is because the original piece Reece had written didnt feel fleshed out enough. From there I wrote a narrative surrounding the crystals, wihch to this day is still under the microscope and cannot be ran.

1753187998509.png

One of the biggest complaints is that the MOP/SRI do nothing, yet when I and many others in the faction ask to be included in something, or try to reverse the stereotype we currently have, we get denied or told to do something else, or no one communicates with us at all.

1753188394846.png
I dont know where in this escapade you thought we were trying to produce weapons of mass destruction. The only project that even came close to something like that was a type of portal gun, making use of the green crystals in C8, before you took leadership of the ET. This was aproved by Robert icly and oocly at the time, which unfortunately I couldnt persue due to the map being made redundant.

Exhaustion
Over the last year it has become increasingly harder to communicate with people and get ideas off the table and rolling. Through several iterations of writing, back and forth between multiple people, directly or indirectly, making amendments all over the place I have become tired and iritable. To say things have been getting to me regarding complaints, faction problems, stale narratives, lack of help from GM's, stories being used on the main server and then disgarded through a lack of oversight and other factions complaining, is an understatement.

Through this tiredness I have become far more agitated than I would prefer to be, taking things to heart far too often and slowly becoming more anxious and worried about what will come in my direction next. When im working I cannot sufficiently respond to faction related issues, nor can I RP on the server to resolve them in a timely manner, meaning the progress of such problems gets worse before I can do anything to rectify it, further adding to my frustrations. This is partially why I do a lot more ooc management, liaising with others to help prevent the total collapse of the SRI/MOP.

All I have wanted to do since become the lead of the MOP/SRI is do something fun an enjoyable with the faction, to enable others to do the same things and hopefuly involve the rest of the player base as well. I have spent far too many hours digging through problems, talking to others about how to resolve issues, atempting to make changes to things when told they're no use. All this effort has seemingly been wasted and I am tired of trying to further develop a faction that I love playing in, when others fail to lend their hand and help.

Summery
Its no secret that over the years I have made many, many mistakes, with events, characters I play, stories I have written and tried to push. Throughout all of those mistakes I have done my best to own up to them and be honest about the issues raised to me. I have ran countless events, with the IMS, CPRD, rebels, MOP and other avenues, playing a great many characters along the way. Some have failed, some have been successful, others have garnered complaints.

Several pieces of writing and documents have been submitted by myself for review, ooc effort to bring something new and fresh to this community. I love whats being created here and have a passion for it, a drive to see it continue and prosper. This sometimes bleeds into frustration, which becomes amplified ten times when I am unable to deal with them due to IRL work schedules.

My main goal with the events I run and stories I write is to try and bring people in, to create some enjoyment for others to experience as well as myself. Unfortunately this doesnt always work out the way I want it too which further adds to my frustrations. We all make mistakes and I have admitted plenty of my own in the past, so I hope Reece can also admit to his own in regarding narrative failures and dissapointments, going forwards.

Despite everything I have mentioned above, I am going to step down entirely from the SRI faction. For quite some time I have been trying to push new ideas and build the faction up, with the help of Cengiz as my co lead through the first half of this year, and now Medi as my new co lead. Everything I have mentioned is there to help illustrate the frustrations and issues I had with Reece and his leadership of the event team, which I feel was extremely lacking in skill and communication.

I am exhausted and tired, which is effecting my judgements in other aspects of the server and diverting my focus of other important tasks. I enjoyed running the faction and have given it my all, spending far more time on this than anyone probably should do and despite all the people who yelled and screamed at me to stop persuing it. Having been in the faction for several months I trust Medi as a competant leader, someone with a lot of drive topush it beyond what people believe. I know he can do well and wish him luck with the SRI.

Further adding to my exhaustion is Nemethova. I wanted to finish the character in my own way, having her killed off either by others, or an illness I am currently RPing her with. Despite those plans and to stop my ooc health from declining from these complaints, I'll be deleting the character today and calling an end to their story.

If I get time and think of anything else to comment on I will, but all I want is peace and enjoyment.

Reece has been afk from the server compiling this for months. Peak larp

This is probably one of the most invalid things I've ever heard you say, ABSOLUTELY NOBODY in the MCP holds a grudge against you.

EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING thst we've done within the server is purely IC the only "planning" that we've ever done is make documents and review them before even pushing it's agenda ic and coordinating which times we get on or generally discussing subfaction policy or instances where we can better outcomes amongst many other things thst come with the position.

It's actually ridiculous to hear you again, for the millionth time accuse a subfaction of metagame and bad faith when you have absolutely no evidence to prove any of your moot points against the subfaction.

The entire SERVER COUNCIL has access to our chats, if any of us metagamed or did anything counter productive to keeping IC, IC they would tell us that we are breaking the rules, which we've never done.

This led me to believe that people were planning this out oocly, rather than doing any RP on the server. Im not pushing for anything with this as its come and gone, however my frustrations and claims to this can be seen through the logs in the images below, showcasing why I felt as bad about it as I did.

There was absolutely NO planning done out of the server, everything was done ic through being actually IN GAME or through a relay requesting thst we've look into this matter.

You're taking a conversation through 3 screenshots and slapping a bad faith accusation since you are uninformed of what the context is. Instead you use buzzwords to try and gain traction towards yourself.

There was no ooc planning to this at all, the only MENTION of ooc thst was done was coordinating with another MCP character on when would they be online so they too can partake in roleplay.

Again. Another ridiculous point you bring up since you think thst we have some grudge against you.

Not to mention throwing around an accusation of bad faith when AGAIN you have nothing to back yourself up.

You've proven yourself time and time again whenever an ic action was taken against you, you immediately devolve into a rage by placing the blame on others along with spitting out the same mantra of "MCP should just be removed at this point" (proven by reeces screenshots) since you clearly cant comprehend what is IC or OOC anymore.

Oh, and im still waiting from an apology from yourself which you've failed to do twice now, for your childish outburst thst was directed to myself from a few weeks back along with your baseless and insulting claim that all I do is metagame apparently.

By your own admission you are using relays against the rules. I asked for a meeting to be held in character and didnt get one, before you stepped in. Prioritize RP on the server first and foremost, instead of sitting on a discord relay sending messages back and forth.

Im not persuing this further as im drained of it all.

Everyone, including you has used that relay, and many other relays no roleplay was ever circumvented at all. Everything was kept IC.

Atle communicated to the MCP via a pager requesting we speak to you and everything else afterwards was conducted within the server.

Another moot point you attempt to bring up, instead of actually taking accountability for your actions you just decide to deflect everything that was said and shift the blame to others.

Im going to assume you didn't read a thing I said, you just nitpicked a valid point and turned it into your own nothingburger point and again try to spin it as I am breaking the rules.

I doubt im ever going to get an apology from you, another testament to your reputation and character.

On a side note. Does this mean we need to ban everyone who's used a pager. Starting from a new player to the owner of the server himself?

If that's the case we should start with your ban first

What I got out of most of this was-

Event Team: "Do what ever you wish."
MOP: *Does something*
Event Team: "Oh, except that.
MOP: *Does something*
Event Team: "Oop, not that either."
MOP: *Does event related something*
Event Team: "Not what I wanted you to do."
MOP: *Stops doing things*
Event Team: "What the fuck is wrong with you!?"
