A PETITION TO ADMINISTRATOR ORWELL AND VALENTE FOR THE END OF THE ASCENSIONIST-LED DICTATORSHIP AND RESTORATION OF POLITICAL DECENCY
"The revolution will be a centralisation of The Ascensionist Movement’s power in the Collaborators Party. With no proper opposition in reality, we should seize this opportunity to make ourselves the sole arbiter of loyalism, we become the Security Council. We aim to provoke our enemies, hidden and public, inside the party and snuff them out. This also includes the Unity Tribunal, the system designed to promote and demote those in the party. It must be firmly under our control to ensure every new member is within our binder. The party is the vehicle upon which we can conduct our revolution; it is our legitimacy provided to us. The legislative powerhouse we can use to legalise every decision that stems from the revolution. Push, push, push it to the breaking point. Wyatt Callaway and his followers, the Ascensionists, have consistently, through their actions and own admissions, abused and infringed upon Security Council law, procedure, and the rights of collaborators. They have bypassed established term limits as outlined in the Security Council's charter, dissolved elections, purged members of the rival Civil Workers' Party, created the Unity Tribunal to withhold political opponents and prevent non-Ascensionist admissions, and appointed Callaway as permanent Chairperson in a closed-door meeting rigged by Ascensionist attendance, preventing all future elections and Chairpersons.
These actions are in direct violation of the Security Council charters, which states: "The Chairperson of the Security Council is elected by Tier-1 citizens and above for a tenure of 60 days, to a maximum of two consecutive terms with unlimited non-consecutive terms in office" and that "upon the completion of a tenure, elections are to commence approximately 1-2 weeks after a term's completion, allowing ample opportunities for citizens Tier-1 and above to both register and campaign."
We therefore demand a continuation of these procedural requirements as stated by Security Council law.
Continuing from that, Callaway has also publicly admitted to undermining the Security Council and has flagrantly violated its laws in his manifesto titled "The Enlightened Revolution," a book in which he has publicly criticized Civil Protection and its Ministry, the City Administration, and promoted hate speech, city 24 exceptionalism (faux nationalism), fearmongering, and political violence, as well as discrimination and shunning against non-Ascensionist civilians and his opponents.
Because of these collective actions, loyalists, including fellow Ascensionists, have found themselves disenfranchised—unable to vote independently of Callaway without the risk of expulsion—, victims of his numerous policies, including banning parties such as the Hyper-Republicans, as well as Biotics—who are assured representation via law—, unbanning globally-banned groups like the Futurists and Breenists as well as the Metadynamists—who conspired to kill their opponents—, using the Unity Tribunal to exclusively promote Ascensionists and their allies, and passing laws restricting members of Departments from becoming Tier-2 citizens, effectively banning the Civil Workers' Party, and limiting the political participation and representation of city departments among a litany of other offenses undertaken by his administration.
We therefore petition the following:
1. THE END OF THE CALLAWAY-LED DICTATORSHIP AND THE RETURN TO SECURITY COUNCIL ELECTIONS.Restoring political freedoms and rights for Collaborators and re-enfranchising Tier-1 citizens to vote for their preferred Chairperson-candidate.
2. THE REFORM OR DISSOLUTION OF THE UNITY TRIBUNAL AND ITS SELECTIVE CRONYISM.
Allowing non-Ascensionist Supporters to join the Security Council and loosening the Ascensionist grip.
3. THE REPEAL OF THE DISCRIMINATORY Nº15 LABOUR-POLITICAL NEUTRALITY LAW.
Discouraging the organized participation of departments in our political affairs and limiting their representation.
4. AND THE REMOVAL OF WYATT CALLAWAY AS CHAIRPERSON AND HIS INVESTIGATION BY THE MINISTRY OF CIVIL PROTECTION FOR POWER USURPATION, EXTREMISM, ABUSE OF AUTHORITY, AND GENERAL MALFEASANCE.
Who has time and time again overstepped his bounds as Chairperson, targeting political opponents, instituting an Ascensionist dictatorship over SeCon, unilaterally installing himself as permanent Chairperson, dissolving elections, and promoting a violent cult of personality around himself while encouraging his followers to boycott, harass, and persecute any of their perceived opponents through economic and social exclusion and Gestapo-like tactics like vandalizing their properties and stores, public shaming, and celebrating critics' deaths.
