My PK Appeal Denial.

Why were these aspects highlighted for my PK Appeal denial; when... they all act in favour for my characters survival?

I was not given a chance to roleplay; I was shot while typing, with a copy-pasted /me execution.

I do not think this PK is correct, nor the verdict justified. Hence, I am making a complaint thread.

All of that in less than a minute? You can see the timestamps right there. You put zero effort into this and pre-wrote an execution which as far as I'm aware you need to put effort in executions, they also weren't alone it seems judging by the people around them.

I was roughly standing on her body for 6 seconds before I typed the /me, which I already had mapped out in my head, nothing was copy and pasted, I ensured that she was isolated, well all except for one person that decided to S2K me during my /me, hence why it was rushed (Tall black man in his 30's)

Emiyo and three others were slightly delayed in response because upon shooting, bullet casings and the muzzle flashes appeared directly to our left making us think it was just a bug.

Only once the second volley of shooting happened did we move. Hardly matters but it's just another slice of lettuce on this shit sandwich.

Regardless of what happened, Marco was in the midst of typing as clearly shown by the footage. Regardless of what code-word was said, you proceeded to just simply sprint in, gun his character down and drop a half baked /me to secure his PK without bothering yourself to act in good faith to telegraph your attack to allow Marco to react.

Also known as powergaming as clearly stated in the rules highlighted. If you'd have just turned off that brain that says "shoot first, rp later" you'd have brushed up on it and dropped the /me first and dragged his cop off to be dealt with, then again. Given your responses the way you've conducted yourself since I've tagged along, you'd probably have not bothered to brush up on said rules.

I gave it a try on monkeytype, I managed to write all of that in seven and a half seconds.

There's no admission here at all, I'll defend him on that. He never said he was giving zero chance. Bad faith (allegedly) came from two sides, and I think that this went sloppy. Reece had claimed in the appeal that it was more than acceptable RP with the PK. The /me didn't seem rushed to me personally, but that's just me.

I had said the PK was sloppy, but I do not recall saying that it wasn't thought through. We planned this in-game along with another guy to make this less suspicious for Iroquois, as I was set to be under arrest by Irida. I don't think hostility is the right choice here.

No offense, but it was an S2K kill. I don't know if you can expect someone to write a whole essay just to execute someone. People such as the Liberators have done way worse, and I didn't see much complaining. Also, I'll just add this in Omni's defense - When I was typing, you couldn't see me writing at all during the last minute, or seconds. - I'll assume that's what happened for Omni.

Overall, I think this PK speaks a lot in-character. Anyone can and will be killed for their ideology. Irida and Iroquois are both horrible people who have their own problems. When you do that, you should expect to be killed. There was also bad faith from the other side of the coin, such as potential metagaming(?) an assumption by me, blatant lying to make my punishment worse and powergame.

I actually was gonna plan for the guy to shoot my neck instead to have this seem more legitimate, but people here take fucking forever with medRP. I was shot 3 times, and it took almost 10 minutes before I was brought into the medical bay. This includes Eden just acting fucking nonchalant for no reason during that whole situation, which I find unrealistic.

That isn't necessarily anyones fault, and shouldn't be mentioned.

My conclusion to this whole situation is that I believe things could have gone better, and I believe the PK was acted on too quickly. Bad faith was (possibly) present on both sides here, and I personally noticed it even more on the opposing force. I can't say much on that, as it's the attackers versus defenders here.

Neither side should be rude to one another, as it's a video game. V2 is ending soon, and none of this will matter. I understand Marco's ""pissy"" nature about this, as I'd be frustrated too if I died in the blink of an eye. I was skeptical about this going to S2K, but I don't know what Omni thought.

If the PK were to be accepted, it would likely also mean that the situation gets voided entirely, as that's the only realistic solution. You can't be riddled with bullets in the head, and survive.

This rule is iffy. I'm pretty sure it's worded weirdly with how Reece put it. The "or" is there for a reason. You can either kill them by taking them out of medical reach, so that they bleed out, or by roleplaying an execution.

This does not excuse rushed RP. If you realistically can't meet the RP requirments for an execution that execution should not happen. There is no resonable excuse for the following things:

- A character is shot mid-typing giving them no resonable time to react in any way
- A copy paste /me is used to execute a character with sloppy RP
- An executon is done in the most public area of the bunker with more than 4 doctors and 1 vort present in the same area
