yea
"i need food, but also i'll take everything you have"
also restrict muggings to actual reasons beyond the needing of scripts (exception: UU workers)

Ah yes i'll eat your suitcase, resources and clothes if you please.

I like the idea of food bandits
Not remotely a good justifiable reason to mug someone and rob them of all their possessions. There are always alternatives that people can take. You are literally provided rations free of charge, and you can easily achieve food/water through the skill systems. People who mug on the premise of taking one's foods are doing it not out of necessity but out of malice and slothfulness.

Nobody mugs another for food and confiscates all their other possessions when there is plenty of alternatives that are just as easy if not easier than taking it off of someone else. Food is a commodity that is given for free. Chances are, you're just being lied to and given that as an excuse for them to mug you in the first place.

how can you get food thru skills lol

The group I saw today is honestly the worst excuse for a bandit group I've seen in a while tbh

cooking, smuggling, even bartering if u got a permit
i mean when the server releases, yeah.
but in the beta you can get food in the city yeah.
finding food in the qz is like searching for a unicorn (youre not going to find anything)

infact, here's a better idea. I thank my man wyjebane jajca for coming up with it

don't allow mugging at all, unless you've got an IC reason specific to that character. "I want food" isn't specific to that character, but "He stole my food" is specific to that character

So pretty much this.

If you're hungry, mugging for food is a valid reason
If you're hungry, mugging for clothes is not a valid reason
If you're cold in the winter, mugging for a tinderbox is a valid reason
If you're gold in the winter, mugging for weapons is not a valid reason

so if people need weapons they can mug for them too?
yea that's totally gonna work well.

If you're in a dangerous area, such as the slums, sewers, etc, do you really expect bandits not to exist? It's stupid to rob all your items, however, the idea of these areas are not to really enter unless you're wanting to have that risk or you can protect yourself; you don't walk down a dark alleyway expecting it to be safe; dangerous areas have potentially dangerous scenarios. Of course taking every item is stupid, but taking your weapons, food, etc is almost expected in any planned mugging.

pure roleplay, amirite guys?
What do you think is going to come from people mugging eachother? Having a big QZ cockwall danger zone is probably more fun than getting mugged by your average minge gang.
I bet people will totally be happy that they probably lost shit they've grinded on for hours, just to be forced under FearRP and robbed of said item(s).

Well, one, there won't be a constant mugging issue; have you educated yourself on the mugging rules as of recent? You have to have a specific reason to mug. If you want to a mug a weapon, because you need a weapon, good luck on doing that without a weapon in the first place.

Ah yes, FearRP shouldn't apply to those who have spent time getting to where they are... That's exactly the point of FearRP. You fear losing your shit OOC'ly so to not lose it all you comply IC'ly and hopefully only have a small amount taken instead of being killed and losing everything
