Lore Wise make the plants in C24 real

This is such a petty thing but its been bothering me enough that I thought I'd ask. I've had ideas for events and workshifts in the park but I can't because "It's Plastic". It doesn't contribute to anything, we see in HL2 EP2 that plant life still exists, and a loyalist stronghold like C24 would, of any city, have actual real plants, it'd fit with the "Faux Utopia" theme C24 gives off. Plus it'd allowed for actual workshifts involving it.... Update: Also the Slums already has plenty of plant life, which has no reason to be fake.
