My suggestion is: Remove the 300-500 second time out between every single //OOC message. This is very annoying as sometimes as we ask for advice, we can not engage in an OOC conversation due to waiting a very long time to respond between sentences... Also sometimes when RP is very slow, it's nice to engage with the community on //OOC chat. I can't be the only one, surely.

Another suggestion is a way to engage with the community on Discord. There is no channels available for us to talk. I'm not much of a forum person.


Very isolating not being to engage with anyone outside of RP chat.

EDIT: Currently my OOC timeout is 450 seconds between messages. This is insane. I understand OOC spam is bad, but 450 SECONDS!? What if I want to ask for help and I need to explain FURTHER in a second follow up message.. INSANE.
 
RE: Discord. You already have the channels server discussion and general discussion, as well as two voice channels and a music channel. (Plus a plethora of specialised channels)

What more would you want to see on the discord?
 
Let us reply like, twice before the timer sets in. Just in case we need to follow up a question or something we've said.

I only have: Welcome, rules, server ip, announcements, voting booth, devblogs, changelogs, short stories announcements, reporting, applications info
 
Even an in-game admin replied saying she does not understand how I have to wait 450 seconds instead of 300. What gives?

let people PM themselves by steam names not character names

Whats your discord name? You might be stuck in a role-less hellhole, admins will be able to fix

Your right, I made sure I read through the discord channels but nothing can let me onto the discussion channels.

if anyone can help me on discord I would be able to have literally all my problems fixed. The ingame 300 to 470 seconds don't matter to me anymore if I can access discord.
I'm glad to know the channels exist anyway thank you

Right, bot supposedly DMs you for verification, make sure DMs are open to server members/look for the bot message for verification
 
It used to be like 2 minutes, but when big events would happen (Ex. Casto arriving) the mods would extend the OOC timer since everyone would meme in OOC, but they would never set the OOC timer back to what it was previously, leaving us with the current time.
 
OOC timer should be high. I'm here to RP, not hear about cock futa cum balls or whatever people talk about in OOC chat nowadays.
 
I agree, but OOC is optional, you can disable it in settings.
 
@JollyRoger you hadn't verified your Discord with the bot but I've manually done it for you, should be able to see the channels now :approve:

As for the suggestion, it changes and depends on what's going on. Sometimes it's 500, 400, 300, etc.
