Some of the NPCs outright ignore TBC in many situations, they just keep attacking the player, eventhough if its not their turn yet. Same goes for NPCs that tag along to the fight but don't get count in into TBC, they just keep attacking the player without any hestitation, while it's either his or another players turn. This should be fixed honestly, i saw many die unneccesarily because of that.

Or an NPC gets more hits in general in TBC than the player, you're overwhelmed if theres even one zombie and you have medium melee for a weapon

Could you be a bit more specific? Which NPCs exactly ignore TBC? This may be important.

Typically NPCs from VJ base, but it doesn't happen all the time. Most of the time they follow through it properly from what I have seen. But they can break.
Even when they don't break, you can tell they want to. Since they are likely being torn between tbc and their own custom behavior.

Yeah, that's what I figured might be the case - VJ NPCs are complicated. We'll need to dig through their code and rework parts of the TBC system for them to be properly supported it seems.

VJ Npcs, not really possible to fix as each VJ Npc uses differing attack functions so unlike hl2 npcs which all have the same setup for attacking the player and other NPCs, which means it is easy to lock down vs VJ.
