I don't know about this and have no opinion. If they were allowed to keep their gear, I'm sure there is a reason for it.Can you explain how rebels who are NLR'd get to keep their loot and equipment if in fact they are?
I wasn't there for this and just saw the rebels perspective of the engagement.
NLR is defined when you connect to the server as "forgetting everything leading up to the point of death".Doesn't really seem like a "new life". I am surprised that there are no explicit rules on what "NLR" clearly means.
I don't see it in the rule section posted on the forums. And how does this relate to script items.NLR is defined when you connect to the server as "forgetting everything leading up to the point of death".
According to my sources I've heard that during this event several members of the OTA were killed. If we are going to be enforcing a similar rule to both sides, various players are going to be PK'd and have a loss of their character; however, the biggest problem I have with this is the fact that a Rebel get's PK'd he loses months of progress, not only in their "grind"(all the gear they had lost) , but also in character development. CP's when they're taken as the aggressor, no matter the severity of the situation I've yet to see take any loss; regardless, even if they did sustain loss- they can recreate the character since certain members of staff don't see a problem with them being PK'd, but allowed to keep the whitelist. I am a firm believer on equality and no bias, this is a character you made- you got yourself into a position whether CP or Rebel that you were aware could end up getting you killed. If you die, you die, it's the name of the game. You're roleplaying, think of it as a real life you have placed yourself here, deal with the consequences or don't play the role. If you really wanna see all deaths be taken as PK's, then it should be the same for CP's as well.
I am a shill for NLR; cause it doesn't completely kill the character and depending on the situation- is beneficial for all sides involved in the RP. The "sewers" are the only place the Rebels are allowed to thrive and do as they wish without worry; yet they face multiple negatives: gas, NPCs, OTA sweeps, lack of socialization, the "grind", and now "if you die in the sewers its a PK". This removes incentive for Rebel players, and just enforces and presses for nothing more but Loyalist RP and "no anticitizens". These guys give roleplay, character development, and IC reasoning for your characters to develop into who they are.
Upon further investigation things are becoming abit less serious in my eyes concerning the lack of PKs' OTA in my opinion are PK event character death squads, and hold no real supporting value to RP. If you die as an OTA you literally lose nothing, again as I stated with the CP's above; you recreate the character and as OTA there is nothing lost what so ever. and apparently one of them committed suicide via energy ball? Suicide should be a PK.

PKs just kill RP. Pks should only be allowed if the death has meaningRebels should be PKed for pointless bombings and attacks on random stuff. CPs should be PKed for similar rash actions (such as a shadow sweep) that have no benefit. You know what you're getting into by destroying shit. It's not rocket surgery. It could even be considered suicide by cop, but that's a stretch.
not even ota and i can see that you're just stirring shit lmao stopNICE OTA FACTION GUYS!

I'm not saying you're wrong, but I haven't seen any PK's on the side of CPs, and as I stated prior they lose nothing but a character which is easily replaced by another Unit and the gear is just a salesman.Rebels should be PKed for pointless bombings and attacks on random stuff. Sorry man but you're barking up the wrong tree here. This is not my place to really speak on.I don't see it in the rule section posted on the forums. And how does this relate to script items.
That's alright chief, Robert or someone else can explain it.I'm not saying you're wrong, but I haven't seen any PK's on the side of CPs, and as I stated prior they lose nothing but a character which is easily replaced by another Unit and the gear is just a salesman.

Considering they lost a shit load of gear + stats + got only like... a couple biolocked guns and 1 usable gun and some supplies, its a big enough loss as is
OTA keep shitting the bed and sweeping for everything nowadays.
then why did you attack in the first place
OTA is in a bad state right now when it comes to player standards. We only deploy for free Vorts. Either put on fake shackles or stay in the sewers if you're a vort
