Seeing how there was a suggestion for more transparency when it comes to weapon stats, and I've had a looksie on the dev server over the past days, I've decided to make an in-depth list when it comes to the stats of weaponry.
In order to keep things tidy and organized I will be posting the information in spoiler tags.
Also, to burst you bubble upfront. Many weapons share identical stats when it comes to TBC. An AK-74 is no different than an AR15 or FAMAS. (At the moment)
Now a general disclaimer. A lot of the key details about what the stats actually mean in TBC I cannot figure out because there is just no reliable way to test it. @ the developers for the formulas they use for the final crit levels. (Don't actually spam them, please.)
All the info I have comes from server experience and using someone as a test dummy on the dev server.
Well, there you go. All the information I have been able to provide you lot. Now you can find your best shot-copping weapon.
Do note that these are TBC stats. Weapons still have different values for magazine size etc etc. But you can find this all out yourself.

General stats
Every weapon on Willard has a set stats that determine how it functions in TBC and how much damage is done and how it reaches that damage value.
Base crit chance: Comes from your gun skill level. You can check it there under level unlocks. The higher the better obviously.
Base damage: The base amount of damage a weapon does, the higher it is the more the shot is going to hurt. Simple enough
Skill range: Gun skill you should be at to use this weapon. If you have below the minimal requirement, you will get a horrid penalty to base crit chance, and at the highest value you get the highest base crit chance for that weapon.
Minimum and Maximum effective range: Didn't test. Don't try to snipe with a pistol. Don't try to CQB with a sniper. The lowest max range I found is 40 meters and the highest min range is 3. Trust me when I say that generally you really shouldn't run into problems here.
Shots per Action point: Every round of TBC you get 2 action points. These can be spend on equipping items, reloading, shooting or running. Effectively if you don't do anything other than shoot, you get twice the shots per AP in every turn of TBC. (No, burst fire still counts the individual rounds, not the clicks)
Armor Penetration: Maybe does something with crit chance as far as we know. Perhaps a change in armor damage. At the moment I haven't found a way to reliably test it. Higher is better...
Now, what does this all actually mean for the damage you will be outputting.
Every shot you send downrange will go through some calculations to determine the final crit chance per shot. The damage you deal per shot doesn't actually fluctuate that much. It is either a crit or it is not. From what we have seen:
A regular hit, does 60% of the base damage.
A critical hit, does 95% of the base damage.
As you can see, there is quite a difference, since with a gun you can use to its fullest, you will mostly ONLY do critical hits (Around the 90% from testing). This means that the gun skill can give you roughly a +35% boost in damage output. Wowie. Another thing is, don't use pipe weapons they just suck ass when it comes to crits and also already have a lowered base damage.
