Container rules are flawed. If the owner of a container has been online within 2 weeks, their containers are protected by rule. Only when the owner is online or 2 weeks has passed, then you can break container.

Thing is.

What if the owner gets occasionally on for like 1 second. In logs it shows he was active in less than 2 weeks hence are given a container protection. For my instance, i am trying to break a container but the owner joins inconsistently, but within 2 weeks and often in the middle of midnight when i am unable to play.

It's not fair - the container rules should be looked into it.

its not flawed. There's some leeway that takes this into account, and if you log on for a second, that ain't gonna cut it. you're taking it to face value.
To my experience, pretty much going to your container and USING it, like checking into it within 2 weeks is just fine to extend the warranty.

If we see activity like:
>Logs off
>A week and six days later logs back on
>Opens Container
>Closes container, doing nothing else
>Logs off

Then it still counts as two weeks without playing. There are reasons the rules have been updated to be a little more vague, instead of "An Owner who has not played for 14 days loses all Ownership" That's too specific and leads to situations like you are worried about, we have "An Owner who has not played for 2 weeks loses all Ownership"

For me, the owner is playing at odd hours - midnight to be specific, when one would go to sleep.

Why do you wanna break into it anyway? If your char has an IC reason other than “I want scripts”, then ask staff for auths to break in.

I have valid IC reasoning however staff auth is confined to the container rule.

No? If you have ic reasons, you can disregard the 14 day rule.

the 14 day rule is only there so there’s not 100 containers around the map owned by players who left the server months ago.

If you have a reason specific to the character who owns it, raid the container.

This is only for inactive users. Not for containers as a whole.

So if you have a reason to raid a container, then you can. This rule only applies to inactive users as is also not flawed via Rule 0 where it falls under Admin discretion.
