| Desmond Ray was born to a single mother living in Korea. He was named after his American Father who’d left his mother before he was born. Desmond was raised in a low economic homestead as his mother struggled to make ends meet. She provided for her son however she could and taught Desmond that kindness and hospitality is the way into people’s heart. Ever since then Desmond has always tried to be an optimistic, kind person who’d be willing to do anything to help his fellow man. His mother gained him a position within a university in which he studied psychiatry before the portal storm interrupt his studies and cause him to lose his mother. Despite losing his mother, Desmond still honors her with his good intentions and kindness towards strangers. | When Korea failed to protect its people during the portal storms, and all has seemed lost, they arrived. The Combine, The Universal Union, Our Benefactors. At first, Desmond saw their methods of aiding humanity as too harsh and damning, but over time and many broadcasts he learned that the Universal Union had it in humanity's best intentions to maintain the sociostability until they are ready to become a space-faring civilization alongside their benefactors. Now Desmond spends his days as a loyal citizen of the Universal Union's Empire. He attends work blocks, sings praises to their benefactors, and even seeks to be a spokesperson, Having been chosen to join the security council. Over time he hopes to become a shining beacon to his benefactors and show them the best humanity can offer for the advancement of his species so that they may have a fighting chance at survival off their dying world. |

@Laura Amélie Amsel: She's a representative for the DSP. She was promoting her party why that Casto fellow appeared and started trying to tear her down. I stepped in to question him and his party, challenging their ideologies. I believe Ms. Amsel is a noblewoman with a heart of gold, and I have much respect for a woman such as herself. I do hope she stays safe from the Futurists. @The_Grass_Man Pegul: He's a man obviously on the spectrum. Whether to chalk it up to PTSD or just plain autism? I'm not sure but he'd a kind man who causes little to no trouble. I hope he stays safe during his little "adventures." |

Civil Protection The Civil Protection here in City 24 has earned my respect. they are a well-coordinated police force that protects our city from the threats of magical thinking, terrorists, and the Xen threat below our feet. Without them to keep the city in check we would surely have fallen into chaos and anarchy long ago. I commend those who valiantly sacrifice themselves to keep our city together and safe. Now If they would just exile Casto and the Futurist Party... DSP The party seems adamant about helping the people and I'm all for it. they also challenge the dangerous magical thinking of the Futurist Party. However, I need to know more about them before I form more of an opinion on them. I hope for the best for their party. Futurists These thugs are the prime example of Magical Thinking. I've seen Casto cause more trouble in this city than any other since our benefactor's occupation of Earth. These Castos- These Futurists, only seek to drain our city dry of its resources for themselves. they have their own armies that could turn on any of us at any moment. The OTA is a far superior army gifted to us by the Combine. They use men who are susceptible to outside influences. We must destroy their party for the safety of our city. |
