Implemented Snack Vending Machines (or something idk)

I do not know as to everyone else's status with such but I can never keep my hunger bar from depleting all the way. I'll be sitting at empty for at least forty-five minutes before my ration is ready some times. And with our current issue of stores opening incredibly rarely, it might be prudent to add a way for citizens to get simple snacks from vending machines - to supplement the ration terminal and to provide another thing for money to be spent on.

Just a thought.

The food bar isn't really important as I believe it doesn't really affect anything (except maybe give you a bit health if low?). The thirst bar is the only one (besides health and armor) that matters since it contributes to your run/energy bar. But this is how I understand it so I could be wrong. Besides that, would be nice to have a vending machine around.

The food bar definitely effects your skills. I can confirm that much.

The thirst bar is the only one (besides health and armor) that matters since it contributes to your run/energy bar. But this is how I understand it so I could be wrong. The food bar being down effects your stamina, you'll see you'll have a max of about half a bar if you're hungry. This is a good idea, though.

Ah I see. Thanks for letting me know. I barely notice about my skills and stamina being affected. Anyways, snack vending machines would be great then. Would really help considering that Thriina is correct about stores being rarely open.

What snacks would the vending machine offer though? So far I'm only aware of two snacks in the server and that's the chocolate bar and a bag of chips. Doubt we're gonna be placing rations or apples in the vending machine. And if we could add more, what kind of snacks can we suggest?

Stuff that would be in snack machines, but Unionized, maybe? Granola bars, maybe cheap UU-Candy Bars that taste very faintly of chocolate? Maybe other stuff that's calorie rich but not actually useful for anything else?

We are already planning to completely revamp vending machines, which will allow snacks and other items to also be sold, so I will go ahead and Accept this.
