Injured Movement Speed

Players who are injured should move slower outside of TBC. There has been many a times when a rebel is mowed down by CPs, TBC ends, and then they sprint away into the sewers like nothing happened. Not only would it add a level of realism but it also prevents Rambo rebels from rushing into a fight with no level of risk.

Maybe this can come with the added change that CPs/OTA's base speed is a little lower than that of citizens/rebels? Would add an interesting layer of evasive tactics I think

This is cool, CPs should be slower due to the amount of equipment they have on them. Especially for OTA. However, I think that wearing armor should affect citizens/rebels, too. If you have armor, you should move a little bit slower than without it.

support if both parties arent rambo.

Could have it so that certain drugs ignore this (for injuries), but there is a base debuff to wearing certain kinds of armor.

Of course certain parties are immune to this (such as Overwatch forces or high level Strength players).

Morphine or something like that to help you ignore injuries
Temporary adrenaline rush

OTA's should really get their speed lowered down. every time they're deployed they speed down the plaza as if they're not carrying pounds of gear, not to mention sprint jumping over the railing

I can say an entire health system adjustment has been sitting in the to-do folder for some time, so this will actually come into play at some point. Along with some other stuff even. When, I don't know.

my primary problem with this is actually the fact that. If we cant run out of TBC, the CP's will straight up just tag us again and again. And the players themselves give zero shits. Especially if they're winning. A good example today is, i was unarmed, had to flee a group of them that ran into the slums and straight up tagged me and got me into TBC while i was in the elevator. Because they opened fire. This is something RL units do daily. They dont try to rp they just straight up go "STOP RIGHT THERE" Then shoot. If you're able to be identified as a rebel. So running is something we have to do to survive.

We actually didn't shoot until you started running

I can confirm as me and @Steffan was part of this raid.

We could have instantly shot you then and there and with 2 SMG's firepower and 1 USP, at least one of you would be in bleedout before you could get to the elevator.

Instead we waited for you to run without roleplay to the elevator to take a shot at you.

So its not really fair to state that HOKI was tagging you over and over when he only shot once to engage and only when you ran away to an elevator which went down after he only shot one of you.

Well no what i mean by the over and over bit is. Its the possibility. In several instances, Units typically would do that. If someone escapes TBC, i've seen more then once a unit will tag them again and bring em back in when trying to rp limping away. And then finish them off. Which i did see once. But I digress. That situation was the best situation possible. And sadly its a very big mistrust between both rebel rpers and CP rpers. You're at this constant state of paranoia with units around where you go "Oh shit /me runs" And then immediately fall victim to a bind saying "/me shoots with intent to kill/incap" shit like that ya know? And then the unit immediately opens fire as you run and its this standard where i've basically made a bind that just says "/me flees" When i shouldn't have to. Just to cover my ass if a unit rushes up on me while im rping.

Im sacrificing quality rp for quick binds.

Yeah you are right.

Big shame, but people do use kill binds on both sides.

As much as I hate that aspect. Its needed due to the mistrust. You cant just ya know.. Trust the other characters player. I took a major risk, rescuing that RL the other day. Because I put my character in a jury's hands and he could've easily just executed me or given me up. When he found me, but instead left me there and took the rank leader i had stabilized. But yeah. My point is, the mistrust needs to be mended. Maybe put a ban on kill binds. Slow down RP a bit. Or make shit invalid if A bind is used. Ya know?

jesus, I got some reading to do, i'll give a proper response since I'm involved after I've read everything

Sorry for taking so long, I went outside with my friends to my countries capital to talk and socialise, I even touched some grass.

Basically
Don't run if you don't want to get shot
and also "they don't try to rp" isn't a valid argument because you can't rp with someone who is running anyway (and also running away with no rp)

Kill binds are typically needed, because most players just run away without even doing a /me and therefore it's not fair for someone to have to type out an action whilst you are running away, because it takes time to type, and realistically they would have gotten at least a few shots into you before your escape.

We have added debuffs to stamina and many skills for having low health. Slowing normal speed too would probably be overkill, therefore this is now Denied.
