The initial part of this thread will be sparse, with only one screenshot. I recently received a DM from Harmonica on Discord and Sagsworth on the forums containing accusations of metagaming, as I applied Malignant status to Betty Arbuckle as K-6 citing the reasons of being a Bottlestreet affiliate. This was based on information provided to K-0, my RL, by a Bottlestreet defector. We jointly collaborated on this investigation as we do all our other investigations. Due to the Sunrise's excessive sales of alcohol to a known Bottlestreet affiliate and an interrogation in which she was caught in no less than three lies or attempted misdirections, an investigation was opened. I reacted as I thought K-6 would IC when given reasonable suspicion that a suspected anti-citizen went incognito to avoid further troubles. Listed below is my quoted conversation with Sagsworth on the forums. I will only provide one screenshot from my conversation with Harmonica earlier, as it is very late and I wanted to get this post on the forums before I slept. The remainder of the relevant conversation will be uploaded tomorrow when I get home from work (approximately 2200 BST).

i have left the server and community so don't give much of a fuck, but have been told MC was made an AC because they were reported as an affiliate of bottlestreet or smth along these lines, and that this was done by you

betty arbuckle has never done any illegal business with bottlestreet, the closest she's ever come to this was unknowingly selling them alcohol they used to breakdown into materials for whatever reason. i can tell you this oocly, and since im not coming back there's no reason for me to lie.

i strongly recommend you do at least the tiniest steps to confirm any report you receive rather than just randomly believing it and setting people as anti-citizens, whether that's ICly investigating further and placing a BOL on someone, or OOCly trying to get logs for any of it, because i can guarantee you none of this exists. like bruh i could make a throwaway tomorrow and say "king-6 is corrupt they killed a cop and were bribed by anti-citizens..." if zero work is done to check if things are true, this is really bad practice and you should seriously know better.

No doubt Betty didn't, but K-6 doesn't know that IC.

As a matter of fact, I did do my homework and confirmation both IC and OOC.

I couldn't interrogate Betty as you stopped playing the server, so that avenue was gone. That instead meant people who frequented the bar and its employees.
I'm aware you sold a fuckton of beer to Bottlestreet, shop logs indicated the sale of well over thirty beers to a known Bottlestreet affiliate within a short period of time.
I confirmed with several members of former Sunrise staff that Betty had disappeared and not been seen for some time.
As the icing on the cake was the fact you had been caught in several lies in interrogation and all the other information provided to me from a particular source checked out and was legitimate, I saw no reason not to mark Betty as Malignant due to status evasion.
On top of that, the Sunrise was burned down. That alone doesn't constitute suspicion or suspicious activity, but it did further muddy the waters IC.

And yes, I OOCly confirmed with staff as well that the info we were given was legit. In short, KING-6 reacted from an IC standpoint as what would be considered reasonable for a suspicious person

I strongly recommend that you don't take Harmonica's statements at face value, because I have done my homework and I have done the necessary work in the background.

I'll repeat to you what I said to him; Please don't attack my character in the future without solid proof of misdemeanour and improper conduct, not just conjecture and assumption.

In this case, I am providing the actual screenshot in which Harmonica insinuated that I metagame, which is to say use OOC information IC. In this case, it would mean use of the claims that Betty was not a Bottlestreet member or affiliate, of which I have no IC knowledge.

Ultimately, I just want them to get out of my DMs and to stop harassing me. As I am under the impression that Harmonica has violated a rule in doing this, reprimand or punishment may need to be forthcoming.

May I ask real quick of whom the Bottlestreet insider was and who did Sagsworth's character sell to? I would just like to know character names as it will help give a better understanding of the situation.

Of course. The Bottlestreet insider was Chau Luu. Sagsworth sold to Mirek (Blurrey) and Vik; I. I do not remember if the sales included Chau herself. The information was received by Phoenix (KING-0) under interrogation and verified by Salvador.

I believe the names that Chau Luu has presented for information had been voided due to metagaming of said names. I will ping @NEYO to see what he thinks. I have no doubt that Chau could easily said "the main guy of the Bottlestreet brought alot of alcohol from the slum's store."

However, I will ask for Harmonica to stop harassing you in DMs as the complaint is on that (though I'd like to know beforehand who started the conversation of if you could provide screenshots for those before I ask)

I told him to apologize to you and Maroon. I don't know if he has done so yet, but if not, he should.

Due to him coming up to us himself admitting his mistakes, I believe a verbal warning should suffice, but I will let other members of staff come to their own conclusion. If you have anything else you would like to bring up, let me know.

The issue is that this isn't the first time he's shown abusive behavior to people via Discord PM's.

As much as I don't appreciate him going out of his way to treat me like shit, my quarrel with him has ended. I have seen this sort of toxic behaviour from him before, though, but I think at this point that's more of a staff issue than an issue I have with him. So, yes, I am.
