This thread serves as a documentation and information post for the leadership and roles within the S.R.F in the upcoming event.
If you want a role within the current roster, alert me and I can see about getting you set up.

The goal is to be as organized as possible for the PVP event.

Infantry Positions will be available to anyone during the event. (Infantry, Medics, and possible specializations)
Special Positions (Artillery, Tanks) may be reserved before hand.

Description
​
A relatively young Soviet Fighter with two marks streaked across both of his eyes. It seems to be some sort of luminescent paint, something a Vortigaunt would create. Minor scars are dotted about his face, and a cocky grin is almost permanently plastered to his mug.

Backstory
​
A true, hard-liner Soviet! Bringer of the revolution! Destroyer of the Combine! ..Or so he'd wish. Antonov's upbringing was fraught with hardship. Born into poverty, and raised by Combine overlords. His life was a mess, he had no direction, no passions, and no hope for the future. That was until the glorious revolution, laying siege to Moscow!

With the spirit of Resistance sparked within him, he joined the Soviet Reclamation Forces. On his very first mission, he witnessed the OTA slaughter a tribe of Vortigaunts who had foolishly joined the battle with no prior-thought. As the final Vortigaunt was to be executed, he let his Kalash loose, tearing the robotic-fuck's armor to shreds.

"Privet, comrade!"

He raised a hand in greeting, waving to the Elder Vortigaunt as he let the gun fall to his side. He approached, helping him up. With no tribe, the Elder had no choice but to join. During his time in the SRF, the Vortigaunt became a well-liked figure, and Antonov's best friend. He spoke of odd trials, and marked the young trooper's eyes with special paint.

As time came to pass, so did the Vortigaunt. Speaking of a pilgrimage he had to take, he left in the night, parting from Antonov with but a bottle of Vodka and a note, which read "Kraas'Etan".

tomorrow I'll be writing up some acceptance posts for squad leaders and a few other things
very competitive so far

For anyone looking for positions, I recommend you hit up a squad leader so that we can build up some of the squads before hand and get ready to game
with any luck by the time they are giving out guns we'll be in red square

anyways, we still need people for the artillery battalions who will be collaborating with infantry and 2 more tank gamers

in the meantime, take this little dark age edit

Why is there no loaders?
Real artillery position would have: 2 Loaders (cuz 155mm Shells heavy and also its quite heavy to push the shell up the cannon with 1 person), 1 Firing (Pulls the rope that fires the cannon), 1 Aiming (Aims the gun duh), 1 Calculator (Calculating shells trajectory)

Oh yeah, Also the trucks that bring it to the frontline and the maintenance company that repairs our artillery. Oh shit almost forgot the factory that produces the artillery piece.
