Boost ration coupons by this schema:

Basic - 20 credits
Medium - 30 credits
Priority - 50 credits

Boost and debuff rations by this schema:

Ration timer - every hour instead of 2.5 hours or so.
Supplement and/or breen normal can - 4x or even 5x less filling for hunger / thirst
Loyalist rations - 2x less filling for protein bar, keep rest the same.

Pros:

- This will allow people to have more money in general BUT they are now forced to spend it (which promotes interactivity with other people in roleplay hubs like shops).
- More crime RP (some people might be forced to exchange their credits for chips or otherwise to get other goods like headcrab meat since certain establishments might deny them).

Cons:

- People have more money, so inflation I guess.
- Less incentive to do more workshifts if they get paid more now? IDK
- People with a job (wages) are naturally superior because you get your wages every ration. Not sure if this is a con or a pro actually, since the Combine realistically would want you to have a job at some point.

Cool idea though you'd need a lot of active vendors and taxes and especially money sinks to even out the economy, essentially things that people can spend their cash on repeatedly.

More items to spend on such as credits to chip vendors, arm dealers, etc would be one way of dealing with it.

Im only suggesting this fully now because we have an active store division now (DOB).

Taxes aren't really needed since your tax is essentially the food / water if you aren't a loyalist.

Credits to chips already works ICly; people know how to convert them it just has risk if someone checks transaction logs enough.

The only thing I know that is a problem is there is not enough "high end" items to spend your cash on; for example I have a character with 50 wages + ration money on top of that so I am always loaded in cash but unless I want to spend it on rebel gear (converting credits to usable materials / chips), then I have nothing really to spend my money on.

I think making it hourly might be gaining funds too fast then, maybe 2 hours is more fair. It still allows more frequent rations, but also keeps promoting work shifts.

This might sound like that is how it's going to work. But usually people will buy whatever fills them the most and leave without any RP to be exact. But that might not be the case, and it could also promote more role play. It depends on the type of players

Yep please. Much needed. Stores won't inflate much from this as they are motivated to make sales no matter the cost. They are already paid with salaries, no sales = no job.

This alongside ration workshifts would do a great job imo

Funds being gained more isn't a problem if your starving / thirsty, especially if supplements and/or water(s) get nerfed significantly to force you to buy better water / food.

My store's supply is extremely limited, being unable to use the pick-up system. So people coming in just to buy a drink to satisfy themselves is annoying and not providing RP

Oh, uh poor guy, as a private citizen you are responsible for your own salaries. Join a union.
Hope you're prepared for me to break any and all of your regulations

Uhh...

Sounds kinda like a "you" issue my guy... maybe stock up on a lot of food and water if such a system gets implemented since you'd be anticipating high demand and low supply?

IDK what to say to that point.

We've attempted very similar coupon setups during the first BETA and we discovered very quickly these sorts of high numbers rapidly cause inflation and make the economy go "kaboom" out of control. Ration timer is already at 2.5 hours so that one is at least covered!

Setting-wise I also think it is suitable people aren't handed this much money, it's certainly possible to get a lot of money as quite a few have accomplished it but it shouldn't be this easy with handouts

DENIED

Edit: However if the CWU / DOB push IC legislation bumping coupons up we can of course do that but not this huge increase
