Name:
Elias Harrison Thompson
Alias:
"The Strange Man"
Mike Bayo
CID:
Classified
Gender:
Male
Age:
Mid to late Fifties
DOB:
14/3/197?
Place of Birth:
Harrison, Arkansas, USA
Current Location:
City 24
Former Occupation
Current Career and Ranking:
Civil Protection Political Conscript i2 : ROLLER-24
Loyalist Party Tier 5 Collaborator
Current Status:
Traitoris Redemptor
General Description:
ROLLER 24 is a older Unit, existing since the very first days of the Occupation of Earth. Serving alongside now, long dead Civil Protectors in the days where Civil Protection was just first getting organizing. But due to a series of corruption and ill-fortuned events. 24 was imprisoned during the latter half of his career, and then released but not before being forced to reenlist into Civil Protection. His retirement and easy life stolen from him by uncaring Command Units, 24 has devolved into a angry creature willing to do whatever it takes to ascend the ranks.
Current Appearance:
Thompson is 53, but in the face appears to be in his mid to late 30s. The only sign giving away his true age is the color of his hair. A deep gray with small flecks of brown at the roots. Post his mental break, a CP tattoo is seen above his right brow and his eyes have lost their luster. However concealed adeptly with makeup tactically acquired elsewhere. He smiles seldom and tends to portray a stoic facial expression.
Known Family
[SON] {REDACTED} (Age ??) - MCP. 814, City 24 [[ALIVE]]
[DAUGHTER] Roxanne Lassie Williamson (Age 25) - CWU Logistics Director, Sector 15, City 24 [[ALIVE]]
[WIFE] Lassie Layla Thompson (Age Unknown) - Nurse [[DECEASED]]
Personality:
Thompson, is human. A far cry from what most in Civil Protection tend to be. Always judging from an objective standpoint and always keeping contingencies and little plans together. Always quick to warn about the threat of loosing ones humanity and maintaining the idea that loyalty and honor are key tenants of any Civil Protection organization. However, with his mental break and complete destruction of how he views Civil Protection. He has lost any care toward his colleagues for fear of them betraying him. No longer fostering any more besides professional relationships and carefully watching fellow officers for the slightest slip up or corruption.
Towards Civilians, Thompson is formal and to the point. Though quite short of patience as a carefully constructed mask as dictated by Civil Protection. But to those who have earned his respect and even admiration. He is quick to speak to them formally. Referring them to Mr. Or Ms. As a show of respect to all worthy of it. A common phrase Thompson uses is "You, or guy" when referring to the nameless civic populace outside of the small group of people he respects.

Begin Record: MCP Agent {REDACTED}
Agent {REDACTED}::> The Unit known as ROLLER-24 in the present was one of the first Civil Protection Officers recruited in the wake of ascension. Having served as apart of Los Angeles PD as a Highway Patrol Officer who was conscripted to maintain order in the months after Ascension. Records from that time are difficult to come by as a result of the global chaos in the wake of ascension. But what little we know, is that this specific unit. Full legal name being: Elias Thompson. Was apart of the very first wave of Civil Protection Recruits.
???::> And why is this significant Agent ?
Agent {REDACTED}::> It's because it was deemed as necessary by the Benefactors that these first generation Officers were supposed to die off. Reassignments to the most dangerous regions of the planet, and severe punishments for early failures were designed to ensure that the Officer's who primarily remembered the old world would be purged without outwardly stoking alarm. It seems that Mr. Thompson somehow escaped such a fate and continued on in his career to the very highest echelons of Civil Protection as it began its teenage years in the 20-teens.
???::> And what Position did he hold? Why is he now just a ground unit?
Agent {REDACTED}::> He held the position of Rank Leader and was poised on the precipice to be ascended to the Captaincy. But, something happened sometime in the middle years of his career. Information from that time is still highly classified and I can only infer and attempt to secure some sort of truth through scrap data and CP reports from then.
???::> I see, what do you know Agent?
Agent {REDACTED}::> This Unit, was involved in a Conspiracy. A Coup perhaps, an attempt to overthrow the City's elected official and place himself and a few notable supporters in charge of the highest echelons of Society at that time. Perhaps it was a conspiracy strong enough to overthrow Dr. Breen. But again, all information has been destroyed. Upon being found out, Thompson was stripped of all his privilege's and rank. Deemed Anti-Citizen 1 for a good three years after his supposed arrest and stripping of Rank.
???::> I can see that this Unit was placed into Nova Prospekt for approximately six years.
Agent {REDACTED}::> He was imprisoned. Not simply executed for reasons that are not defined. The highest echelons of the Administration has deemed it as Top Secret. But what I can deduce, was that it involved a Ascended Vortigaunt. This Vortigaunt appears to of corrupted this Unit, overridden his Mental Programming. And imprinted a piece of itself within his mind's eye. Perhaps as a means of developing Time Manipulation tech? To better understand why he appears in his physical prime despite being almost Elderly in age.
???::> I see... I can also see in his record that he was experimented on extensively during his stay in Nova Prospekt. And the Science Team there has deemed his case extraordinarily interesting. His records also state he acquired an extensive memory replacement which says he was only in prison for a two year period and the purpose and reason to his imprisonment replaced with memories of an extensive illustrious career put an end to by a great failure. Which is why he is just a ground unit today.
Agent {REDACTED}::> We are relying upon the idea that he will never find out what had happened to him. Simply letting him return to the fold as a Recruit Unit upon his release from Nova Prospekt. To eventually die in the line of duty, or workforce emancipate at the end of his career.
???::> You know well what will happen if he does learn of his past. I certainly hope this doesn't come up again Agent {REDACTED}.
Agent {REDACTED}::> It wont. I guarantee that.

'Loyalty above all'
Mr. Mcshain is a good man, if overzealous in how he operates. I had him on many important details because I trust in his abilities and his loyalty. If there is one thing unquestioned about Mr. McShain. Its that he's exceedingly loyal and trustworthy. A man who had his own life threatened by the Resistance by an Assassin and fought tooth and nail to stay alive. He is a very image that I wish more Officers subscribed to. Loyalty, Duty, Selfless service. I would have him recruited for that alone given the chance.

'The Quirky Chimney'
She's a good person, been around since I was a Rank Leader way back when. Has quite a lot of friends and is pretty much universally known when she comes around. I hope she's good. Smokes alot and tends to be crass and creative. I like her. Also extremely unserious and unable to take things seriously.
KING-38
I swear all these fucking taglines look the same. I need to get a notebook on who is who.
QUICK-58
58 is a good unit. Good enough to act as wallpaper when the times needs and capable enough to step up and act on his own accord when time allows for it. I really need to personally interact with him to decide more about him since all these taglines are numbers and hard to differentiate.
UNION-60
Another of the UNION squad. Can't say Im too impressed with some of your colleagues. But as long as you don't go down the path of 36's buddy-fucking. We will not have any problems.
PATROL-10
They're good at what they do, but I cant recall anything notable about them. But I am sure that will be fixed quickly.
QUICK-23
He's an i2 like me. Common enough to leave a mark where he goes. I don't know him personally outside of the mask. But I'll see him around and talk a bit when the occasion presents itself.
UNION-46
He's good, dependable, and well mannered. I haven't seen much of him personally but I hear glowing things about him from his peers.
UNION-36
'The Buddy Fucker'

There are few things in this world that I hate more than the Resistance. Its people who knowingly and deliberately throw their fellow colleagues under the bus to save their own skin. You made the deliberate effort to save your own pathetic hide at the cost of mine. You are not dependable, or trustworthy, or worthy of ever speaking to me again. You are less than shit to me, and I hope that you leave the precinct or catch a bullet so that I can be put out of your cowardly, and selfish misery.
HERO-13
'The image of Complacency Kills'
I had respected you when you were an i1. My direct superior. But you are not worth my care or loyalty any longer. You decided my fate on a whim and on the word of a buddy-fucking unit. I thought you were better than this, but you are the worst of the Rank Leaders by how complacent and uncaring you are of your direct underlings. I told you that I thought of killing you and 36, and even now I am fighting my own thoughts to decide whether or not I should expedite the process of eliminating your weakness from the force. But I will leave it up to an Anti-Citizens and your own hubris to bring you down.

I recall we had run ins often. But I saw she were imprisoned, and I watched as MCP dragged her corpse out to the demolecularizer. A life cut short just like that.
David McAllan
(DECEASED)
He was our top priority target before the Overhaul. Damn near Anti-Citizen 1. XRAY-79 and I fought tooth and nail to bring him in, trying every tactic in the book to get him to slip up. But he was caught during a routine sweep by the Transhuman Arm. MCP forced his Lover, Rhea Ilyava to watch him die and I... I was the executioner. I was the man to kill him in the end. Dropping a headcrab onto him and watching him cough out his last moments as his mind died. I would of just shot him. Ended his suffering. But My hand was stayed by the Captaincy and MCP. I wonder how Ms. Ilyava coped, but she also disappeared not long after McAllan's death.
