| -BACKSTORY- Dillon ‘Smokes’ Bliss has never spoken about his past to anyone he was involved in Crime and had seen people die before the Universal Union came around, Apart from that not a lot has been said about where he was before City-24. His arrival at City-24 was a struggle of starvation and oppression being repeatedly searched and missing or being turned away from rations multiple times. He has always not dealt well with being told what to do and has always had a Anti-Citizen mindset. During his day to day survival he witness a Civil Protection being assaulted by two armed men who all later died he continued to watch this and ended up talking to a few people also watching this play out one of them was Zoe Smith who he quickly became friends with and they decided to go and check out the slums and more specifically a burnt building which would end up being his home. After finding an open door they all went inside and saw a flag and beds. The house didn’t look like the rest of the apartment building and was quite nice and warm. Shortly after, the house owner came around who turned out to be a leader of a Rebel Group ‘The Freedom Council’. During his time living here and working alongside this small Rebel Cell he became close with the women he met earlier they confided in each other and grew to be as close as one can be for friends then the first event happened. Dillon was looking for adhesives asking around when a man followed him home and said he could help with acquiring such items, After a deal was struck he followed the man to the food storage area who jumped him hitting him around the head with a fridge door, Dillon attempted to pull his knife successfully drawing it but was struck down once more and dragged to the Civil Protection.. He was interrogated and managed to lie his way out of death saying he was new and didn’t know anything and was being set up whatever saved him that day him lying or the Civil Protections ‘pity’ on him he was sent away for Temporary Relocation. His return.. It had been a few days and most thought of him to be dead or worse. He arrived at the City and came back home being pretty much the same unhurt and stable, that is when he found her again and his love became to form in short Zoe Smith was happy he was alive and shortly after opened up to him about how she felt the two fell in love and eventually became married this was the first connection he had with anyone for a long time. During this he also became close friend with a Rebel Leader in the making ‘Rusty’ fighting with him for a while and eventually joining he’s group ‘Two Tailed Dog’ during this time he was armed and geared up creating a Kevlar Vest and Padded jeans Rusty gifted him he’s old revolver and he was back fighting against the oppression. He was made second in command of the Two Tailed Dog after gaining the trust of his close friend Rusty. Zoe was captured for the first time and returned saying that Rusty had snitched which Dillon did not believe and he tried to mend the tension between the two being stuck between his friend and his wife. The worst happened.. Rusty was shot and killed during a Civil Protection sweep of the slums killing two of his friends then the task of leading the Two Tailed Dogs fell on him and the stress built up losing his friend hit him hard but he had Zoe there to support him and help him rebuild the losses they had taken. Dillon became a competent leader and recruited new members arming them and he carried out food handouts to the civilians in the slums to gain support for the rebel cause. Days passed and all was well until his greatest fear was brought into the world with the capture of his wife, she was captured by Civil Protection through means unknown to him a day past believing she had perished to the enemy. A radio communication was sent and he heard her voice again and a small glimmer of hope was felt by him which would quickly be shattered. The Civil Protection had given her a chance to say goodbye to him but with a proposal if he would hand himself in to the Civil Protection they would both be given new life and loyalist status. His mind was all over the place and after listening to the Vortigaunts on the radio assisting the conversation he decided to say no knowing full well that he was signing the death of his wife. The Civil Protection gave him one last opportunity to change his mind and played a city wide broadcast mentioning his real name to the entire city and effectively making him wanted if he decided to say no again. They brought his wife onto the broadcast who began to beg for him to join her. He was broken and alone in his own head seeing the person he loved brainwashed by the lies of the Union. He finally said no again and heard the Civil Protection shoot her and a body fall down, “See you in the battlefield, terrorist” before hearing the radio line die. This had sent him into extreme depression and his fate was decided he would fight for her and for all of his lost friends. He wouldn’t give up until he died or until his fight was complete. Death would be a nice end for him being able to see her again. After a long period of downtime with the Two Tailed Dogs and recovering from the loss of his wife he had he met apache who would decide to rebuild the group back up to wear it was. Smokes spoke to Cooper who joined the TTD along with Ryker and few others were recruited too and the TTD grew to 11 members.. He began plans with the group to do leave the city and do some form of mission but this was all cut short after a little while of peace tension began to brew with the slum folk situation mostly turned hostile. Civil Protection raided the base and killed Rod the first of the last losses.. The base was burned down and the group was split up. Dillon shot a scanner after it took a photo of him during the situation and cause a 'Individual, you are now charged with Socio-Endangerment, level 5. Cease evasion immediately, receive your verdict.' Announcement. All of this started to become clear to Dillon that his time was coming close to the end and chance to finally see her again. The next day while hiding in a secret room Dillon and Other members were all together when Civil Protection raided and during the gun after causing them casualties was shot and killed.   |
