I feel that it is customary still to drop in here and introduce myself. Or has the etiquette changed already? Anyway, I go by HonourableArthur and before you cringe and think of me as a wannabe Victorian gentleman cum imperialist, please calm down for a moment and sip on your soy latte and prescription tablets, okay? It's a Dad's Army reference. Seriously. That's all there is to it. I promise. Okay, with that out of the way...
A couple of you somewhere within the depths of this otherwise grey looking forum may remember me as Cpt.Kane or Le Boudin as I used to go by those names in times that I'd rather forget and move on from. If that doesn't ring a bell, perhaps the character name, Kane Sugiartama might ring something up in the old proverbial bell? Loyalist, Model Civil Worker, Downtrodden, Romantic, Player, A Closet Man of the People Type, Generous, yet Modest. If not? Then good.
I'm sure a few from TN3 would remember me a little, not that I got overly involved in the community and Discord shenanigans all that much. I was that rookie unit, DEFENDER-6, the self-proclaimed, once MILF Slayer of Satsumasendai. The bane of any sexless salaryman husband. A unit that nearly lost his legs, only to be saved. He got a medal for that, at least. He came into District 47 an i5 and left as an i5. Either way, his missus had his arse at the end of the day. If not for my unit, perhaps the name Natsumi Hirakawa may ring a bell too? Yes, that was my character. The serious lady that worked her way up from nothing, only for her position at the top to be short-lived and taken away from her due to events out of her control. Ah... How history repeats itself!
That's about it from me. I'd add more to this, perhaps make it look a lot more prettier? Alas, I have ran out of ideas on that as I type this out. For at the end of the day, I am nothing more than a washed out nobody that had rode the Terranova refugee wave. I come back to this three years later and this is where I end up?
Looking forward to the role as Co-Director of the Department of Production, though. Very fitting for my character and for her time on TN indeed. Here's to some good RP experiences and memories everyone.
